I really hate the idea of getting rid of the museum showcases and "one upping" them (which some don't even have anything to do with video games). There was a Castlevania showcase that's been there ever since I was a child, and it was amazing seeing something dedicated to a franchise I felt was really underappreciated. Going in that store with my dad and admiring it was the highlight of the visit. Perhaps it's not as profitable, but I'd much rather go to a store that feels like an homage to gaming as a whole rather than a RUclipsr's trophy wall. I guess there's still Game Xchange. Update: Since this comment, I've gone in more times than I can count (about equal to my Game Xchange visits) and have filled out many a card punches. I really appreciate the transparency in the business aspect of owning the store and the journey behind it, plus the inventory that I didn't see before you took it over. Still hurts to see one of the most nostalgic things about the store gone, but I hope you understand that feeling as someone who's made a career off nostalgia.
My Fam and I loved visiting last week. We just got home this evening from traveling and I'm glad I got my Star Wars Boba Fett Autographed figure and my Dark Trooper Figure! Well Done Rick and your team!
Was such a joy when i realized you were located close by so i had to visit. Met Rick and talked ninja turtles for a few minutes. Super lovely guy and friendly staff. Recommend his shop to everyone i know whos interested in retro stuff. Way to go man.

So awesome seeing you realize a dream. The store looks like a lot of fun. The only thing I would add is a wall of playable systems. When I was a kid, every game store I loved had a wall with every system with the little controller holder sticking out where you could play them in-store. I think that would add a lot, plus you could potentially use them for people to test a game before buying, and local tournaments as well.

Wow, you've done an incredible job taking it to the next level! If you're looking for input...add some diffused led strip lights along the back of the underside of your glass shelves in the cabinets to light up the games getting shaded by all the games on the shelves above them.

The store looks phenomenal. That Mario wall is legendary. There are so many stores that are run down lookin and really don’t prioritize presentation. This store pops hard. Amazing job. The vintage shirts is something really unique. And now the premise of Ronald McDonald being 6’5” and over 250 lbs is going to haunt my nightmares. But despite that, this vid was a treat.
