Your experience is similar to mine... waiting for the honeymoon to end, but it just keeps getting better. "GREAT" doesn't seem to do it justice... but it's what comes to mind every time I hop on the thing. The one positive thing I keep neglecting to mention in my posts about the Patton... is how much it just exudes quality. A lot of folks get caught up in specs and numbers because they are generally quite objective measurements... but the build quality of the Patton and it's suspension design is off the charts.
Ft Lauderdale boy living in Hawaii for 20 years....KS16X burned along with my house in Maui, now I have moved to Kona on Big Island and Patton is en route to me already! Looking forward to some volcano runs....thanks for the swamp vid Duf!
Amazed how smooth the bumps were in the swamp with the street tire. I imagine the knobby tire would have felt even cushier on those bumps. I would opt for the exact Patton set up you have, street tire and 58 pound spring since I am a street rider myself but nice to know that the street wheel can easily be used on trails. Seems like a perfect cruising wheel and I love the agility of 16 inch wheels. You've shown this heavy wheel is quite maneuverable.
Camera work, check. EUC insight, check. Happy dog, check. This channel has it all! Question: if I ride street 90% of the time would I still benefit from a knobby tire? Any down sides to the knobby vs street tire when riding on paved roads?
Knobby is ok on street normally, it's louder obviously. However in my use case if I have an option to get a street or knobby tire on a wheel I will normally choose street.
Your swamp looks fun Duf. I too love my Patton, and I have had a great time learning EUC. It is looking like I will hit one million meters on the odometer of the Patton by the end of my first month of riding.
had to watch this video again, i just purchased the patton 58lb suspension from ewheels, Duf can you share details on your suspension setup how you have it dialed in to your riding perference, i saw the video by 2cells2pack but was curios what your suspension setup is at, thanks
Didnt know you gamed. Well since you do, this'll make more sense. You totally sound like the legendary voice actor Stephen Russell! He did a lot of voice overs for the Thief series, Dishonored, Skyrim and Fallout 4 games.
When that Full face helmet pays dividens, they are huge. If I wash the pads in the full face helmet with cool water before I leave, it helps keep me cool for a long time on hot days.
Hola Duf… first thanks for vids on the Patton it’s kinda helping me to make my decision. I been debating which would be my first wheel with shocks and I was leaning towards the s22 pro but after watching your video on Patton and several others I’m most likely going to order Patton.. my only concern was range but 50 miles should be enough for now… may I ask which pads are you using with the Patton? And Keep the content coming my bro and stay safe out there… who knows maybe we go ride someday when I move out to Florida in the next year or so… @wheel_mob ( stay great) everyone!!

I agree it feels very high quality.

Damn dude sorry to hear that!
I ride very similar trails in the panhandle. One of the few videos I’ve seen with the stock street tire on Patton. Great video!
Cool, thanks!

Progressive Springs would be Perfection. Soak up small bumps and big jumps.
All I can say is I love the hell out of how it feels as is.

I did absolutely NOTHING to the suspension
I ordered my sherman s Friday and should have it sometime this week, really considering getting a patton as well.
Unless you need the extra range, Patton is better, IMO.
its cool your getting into playing pickelball it is alot of fun, I like unicycling while waiting my turn to play pickelball
Yea I might take an EUC over to the pickleball courts.
From my experience the heavier springs matter when you do stairs or big drops. Otherwise the lighter spring is more comfy.
Yea it's weird though that the 58lb spring was seen as sort of a no go for this wheel. For me, it's perfect.
what tire pressure? is it a smoother ride on the patton compared to the sherman S
35ish
is this patton with the knobby tire or street tire, its hard to tell from the video
Street tires
Street
Jason give you just the internal 62lb springs or the whole suspension?
He actually gave me the 66LB springs.
@@Duf but just the springs right? Or is it the whole suspension?
@@machyne82 Correct just the two springs.

Ah cool I have never been told that before ;)
Hey, you got that new SD card?
I did! Thanks. Problem remains....
I'm not sure what's scarier, seeing the gators everywhere or not seeing any gators but knowing they're still lurking somewhere nearby...
🐊
Yep that is the issue when it is so overgrown, you just never know what is lying around.
Pythons worry me much more. 😮
Get another SD card Bro.... haha

Just ordered it bro, thanks!
if i would you i wear fullface helmet

@charleskieser9740 im just saying because i destroyed my face doing 30 mph on esk8 with helmet like this ,
Only went skater because I was swamping it.
@@huizdeeze1075 , I like the Fox Sports MX helmet.
@@charleskieser9740 bike helmet is no go for such wheels
I thought you were going to sign Fleetwood Mac... wtf?
They didnt offer enough money.

@wheel_mob ( stay great) everyone!!
The only downside of the Patton is it does not have massive range but 50 miles is ok for many!
