I've learned this evening that if you watch one video of live performances by Samantha Fish, you best not have any plans. Unless that plan is binge live performances by Samantha Fish.

We are all so incredibly lucky that this performance was recorded in this video clip (film?). I have seen RUclips clips of R.L. Burnside's own (simpler) "pure" performance of his own song. He is a genius songwriter, making much of what is a simple hook, structure, and minimal lyrics. Samantha and her trio here have done a reinterpretation IMO similar to Eric Clapton's version of "Crossroads" with Cream: when he took Robert Johnson in a new direction. The energy! Samantha bounces with excitement, almost ready to "jump out of her skin!" This is an incredible performance! I'm very surprised that it has only 16K views, and a paltry 326 likes?!? What? Where is everybody?
Samantha and the Cigar Box Guitar are like peanut butter and jelly. Unsepereble and always delicious.

I just LOVE howling, screaming FEEDBACK! It's rarely used because it is very difficult to control and can get ear-hurtinly loud in a club. She can also make "gurgling sex fluids", I don't know how else to describe it. Her exciing dance moves are all the more awesome seeing as to she is playing a guitar at the same time. And on top of it all is John Richardson's ver;y artisitc editing, reminding one of a bedroom scene.
