Church Creates Lost and Found for Loose Items After Tornado

- It's not a yard sale or clearance event. The random items gathered in this Iowa church came from all over the state when a tornado blew through the area. Lisa Beaman says she lost her vehicles and most of her belongings. She's hoping someone might have brought them to this lost and found. Inside Edition Digital's Mara Montalbano has more.
Beautiful example of a community church.
This is what the bible teaches the Christian community isaiah 58:10 “If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.”
Very different from taking "donations" as your salary. As most churches do
A great example of people caring about other people. Strive for it everyone.
Seeing those veteran hats makes me so incredibly sad..
And all of those old pictures. My dad passed in 1996, and in 2007, someone stole his medals and pictures he had from his service out of my mom's house. They didn't have any monetary value but meant the world to us.
I hope these things get back to their owners, and God Bless this church for serving their community.

Thank you for showing what TRUE Christianity is like. It might sound crude, but, if you want to know what is REALLY IMPORTANT in life, get hit by a tornado. What first comes to mind that one wants to save is what is truly the most important things. I hurt for those people who lost loved ones and possessions. May they rebuild and find peace.
