He shut at him, but he was lucky. This person is crazy. Her brother had filled for restraining order against her a short time before but was denied one. She needs to go to jail for life. They're an adult so yes they can stay away from the parents whether it's easy or not. My mother and I had a volatile relationship so as soon as I was independent I struggled hard, but stayed away from her to prevent things from escalating and for my own mental health. There's no excuse.
