As I listen to this song,does anyone hear it? It sounds like a prayer! I checked out the original & the lyrics and it still sounds like a prayer,and is a love song and yet it was something deep in Peter's soul,and there is a peace to the song! ,original and this cover, why not make it a love song to The Lord !!? ,the words are very fitting to such a thing such as this ! I don't comment much on RUclips but I had to sign in and comment on this video. This is absolutely the best cover of this song in existence, after just learning this on piano I've been looking at all the covers on here, and this one is just phenominal. Beckah's voice is beautiful and Jack holds it down on the keys while being able to control the percussion using that looping board. I would love to learn how to do the percussion looping stuff being a drummer for many years. Well done guys.

No it doesnt. Nothing stands to the original. Trust me, i have looked all over. Not technically nor in no way possible, nothing. Its a great cover, thats pretty much as far as it goes. Please stop disrespecting.

I've played guitar in cover bands since I was in middle school. I'm now in my 60s. I've played with a lot of really GOOD singers. I've always been amazed at the way very skilled musicians put together ambitious songs that beginners simply can't handle. Then a singer takes center stage and the audience is enthralled with his or her voice and the musicians that put the whole thing together don't get shit. So, I'm not trying to take away any kudos for you, the young lady singing this song. You have a good voice, good tone and you are a pure joy to listen to. But that young gentleman on the keyboards knows how to work the drum machine, the looper and the keyboard and if he wasn't there absolutely killing it, this song would not have come together for you folks. Please everybody, let's share some love and give credit where credit is due. I wish this keyboard guy could play with my band. DUDE, YOU'RE ROCKING IT! You have got some crazy fantastic skills and your singer is overshadowing way too much of your work.

Wow! Almost unbelievable to me since I was just watching the original (RUclips live) version a few weeks ago & I don't listen to secular music almost ever. I don't even remember how I came upon it, but I was enamoured with the original as a teenager ('Say Anything' movie). I was such a needy sap b4 Jesus saved me & made it easy! I was thinking, "does he even realize/know/understand what he wrote?!" It's such a beautiful song! Amazing lyrics!
