- Lyric video for Massive Attack's "Dissolved Girl" from their timeless, iconic masterpiece, Mezzanine. A homage to my angsty, brooding trip-hop phase, lol! It's rare that every single track from an album is worth listening to, but this is that kind of album. I've always wanted to animate something that's Sci-Fi effects heavy, so I used this remarkable song as the backdrop to a grid of a circuit board as well as a really fun hologram effect. I haven't done anything this effects heavy since last year's Radiohead "Everything in its Right Place", I hope you enjoy it (watch it to the very final minute)!

What really impresses me here is the level of skill she put into this vocal. It's not for beginners. The little aural curlicues she added on to to the basic melody are complex and not easy to do. Now I need to listen to the rest of "Mezzanine"!
Jan K I wholeheartedly agree. Sara Jay as the guest vocalist on this track is sublime. Her singing truly lushes out those lyrics. I only wish Massive Attack had utilized her more, this was way ahead of its time!
