OUTSTANDING as always!! This artist ALWAYS outdoes himself. I SO LOVE this style and the 'touch' he brings from his years of being with the best and now IS THE BEST!!!!! LOVE this performance!!!!!! Bass and percussions are off the chart also!!
Awesome Sauce to each and every artist on that stage!!! As a drummer/percussionist myself, Roberto's drum setup is unique and beautiful and he articulated wonderfully around it!!!
Brilliant percussionist (I've never seen a drummer play an entire concert with stick in one hand, the other bare-handed. I wouldn't be surprised if he's related to Jose Vizcaino, who played for 4 NY teams: Yankees, Mets, Dodgers and Giants.) Bill Evans first offered up his "Foolish Heart" on a sacred Sunday (6/25/61) at the Vanguard. It's fitting that Chucho closes with the same anthem at Trinity. ("A Time for Love" and "People" are bonuses, and finally Gershwin and Ellington (why not?).
Concierto increíble en formato trío. Lo que logra Roberto Vizcaíno con ese set de percusión es impresionante. Hace poco tiempo se necesitaban dos personas para tocar esos instrumentos, sin embargo él lo hace sonar totalmente orgánico y balanceado dentro del ensamble. Respeto y admiración para los 3 maestros.
Is Trinity the same as "Citicorp Church"---the Lutheran Church in the basement of the Citicorp Bldg? Finally, are Chucho and Chuchito Valdes the same person?
Bueno ya él padre Roberto era un pulpo con el set de percusión con Gonzalito y su proyecto,otra cosa Chucho y sus raíces,Bebo Valdés tuvo una gran banda, que como se fue lo cogió eso que andá, el látigo con que Fidel le daba a todos los que no tocaban lo que él quería, Cuba es música y alegría ahora en pausa.
