I’m glad you’re still playing my friend. It’s been over 10 years I’ve learned from you and played the guitar after a bad break up made my loose the desire to play. My exes parents made us break up saying I would never be anything nor does playing guitar put food on the table. Fast forward 10+ years I have a wife, a child, a home and a good job. That being said, the insecurity that was bestowed upon me has not gone anyway, and the desire to play has not returned. But I still respect those who do. My old account was Sillyjake86
Thank you your comment. I still play but lately I have little time to practice or make new videos because I started a new job. But that's different to getting little or no support from the people you live with. I hear you. I was in a relationship like that once years ago. It was dark and oppressive and that girl friend didn't last long. I am now happily married and my wife does appreciate my music. I hope you get inspired to play again, even if it's a few minutes a day.

I'm working on the tabs. While I was playing it I forgot was was coming up next so I added an extra rhythm section. This unplanned part made it more complex than I intended. Give me a couple of days. I will also do a tutorial..

Hi Sillyjake almost as daft as Christmasduck 2. I checked out your channel year 2008 and see that you were a young man then, guessing you are now thirty something, I'm seventy three years young and still trying to master the guitar with help from the likes of Sal Bonavita. Having read what your the girl friends parents did to you, although I don't know the details nor want to, this was a willful act that hit right to the heart of you. Flesh and bones heal and somtimes leave scar but malicious words cut deep especially when in an emotional state as in a break up and can lead to an open wound,
What I say to you is, what was done to you and the loss of 10 yrs of learning and creating music, it's now time to say enough .It's like walking around a maze and passing the exit and not seeing it and it's time to dump this chain from around your heart.
It is now time to bury the past and not to live those thoughts and feelings that were said to you, it takes concious effort, you might get mad at what was stolen from you, I know I have. Sometimes it's not easy and you have to forgive those for the injustive caused.The other side of the coin WHY be robbed, begin again to fall in love for music, guitar, or whatever passions might reside in you search them out think on these things live in the now and imagine the future. Maybe your interpreting of muisic will help others, you still have a you tube channel.
