When the 75 was launched my Father-In -law ( since retired ) drove Beemers - I kept telling him he should go to the 75 for his next one - he dithered and dallied and didn't. Not sure whether he was right or wrong in hindsight but I still think the 75 - and the Jag S type - were in an embryonic period of retro look cars ( Beetle/MINI/500 ) were lookers that are now overlooked. BTW best wishes to Amy and yourself. Treatment can be up and down. I have experienced it myself. You just have to tough it out and listen to the experts - they know best. All the best.
I’m going. Did think about taking my Cowley built 75 but instead am taking my newly re-shelled 1998 Mimi Cooper Sports Special Edition for its first public outing. Vanden Plas exhibitor parking space confirmed. Should be a blast. Hope to see you there.
Hope to see you, your Dad and of course your 75 there! We'll (wife and kids are coming too) be in our '73 Dolomite or, should I fail to get her ready in time, my KV6 75
Apparently all slots have been allocated so my beautiful 75 (almost showroom condition) would have to be parked away from the show. Never mind maybe next year.
The car park is huge and will be full of interesting cars even if away from the front spots. I for one will be looking around as many of them as I can, exhibitor spot or not!
Thanks for watching! Links to tickets are in the description (i am not affiliated with the event btw!) - What will you be bringing?
Is that the rover 75 from furious driving
It isn't - BUT Matt's Rover might be there too@@edwardalannewton8591
