Thank you so very much. You are an excellent instructor. After two days of watching people try to teach how to do this I got very frustrated. Crocheted and tore it up, crocheted and tore it up so many times I was ready to cry. Then I found this. THANK YOU! I’m on my way to a nice oval rug!

You are absolutely the best! I have been trying for literally months of watching so many videos on how to do the oval pattern, but I kept getting hung up on the beginning and ending.
Now I know there are 6 sets of the corner pattern and every even number round will always start with just an increase!
Thank you so very much.❤ I am now a new subscriber!

Sooo very glad I found your channel. I'm not a beginner at crocheting, and, I've made an oval pattern before, but, I'd forgotten how to make them. I've watched so many videos about making oval patterns, and, they've all only showed the first couple of rounds. I could remember how the end - pattern changed from two DC in each stitch to a 1 - 2 - 1 pattern, but, couldn't recall just when that change took place. I also remembered how the successive rounds changed their counts, but, couldn't remember where on them, either. With watching your video here, I now remember the complete pattern for making an oval shape. Now, I am hoping to be able to adapt it to make a continuous or spiral shaped oval. TYSM for sharing this video with us - brings back so many memories for me as I've been crocheting and knitting for over 46 years. 😻❣🥰
