The Savage Dragon censor very well might be my favorite back issue moment of all time...right after that “one” time Ethan said, “That doesn’t make any goddamn sense” 😂

If this proves anything it's that we need a Savage Dragon Back Issues. Although it would probably all be censored but the looks on Ben and Ethan's face would be priceless.

I always come back to this episode because the end just kills me where Ethan says he would yell at Doom and tell him “come on dude, the emerald is right there.”
I click on a ComicPOP Spider-Man back issues and in the first two minutes I hear more than I ever wanted to about the "content" of Savage Dragon.

This is one of David Michelinie's best, yet most underrated Spider-Man stories.
To think there was a Saturday morning Savage Dragon cartoon.
The first issue of ASM I ever read was from this story arc. Nostalgia bomb.
I understand Ethan's issue with the magic spider-sense, but things like that just happen in Marvel. Banner made a forcefield that absorbs gamma rays and stone magic, then he made a gun that generates the stone magic and causes things to experience earthquakes level vibrations which can send Wolverine flying. Magic is just, a thing like that.

Also, I think that argument about the spider tracer would've made a great tangent episode. I think that's the first time we've seen Ben and Ethan almost get into an actual fight. XD
Also, "Triumph and Torment" came out in 89, so Doom's mom's soul got rescued already, didn't she? Doom doesn't have the "my mom's soul is trapped in hell" excuse anymore.

That was great, because it contained 3 Spider-Man stories in the book, to color through, and this story reminded me of one of the stories in the book. :)

21:30-24:00 The inconsistent mechanics of the spider sense ready does get confusing sometimes😂. The only time I've been that worked up was when my friends and I were arguing about the bs rules and wishy-washy conditions of Mjolnir's worthiness enchantment.

So I was at my local watering hole (and about 6 beers deep), watched the first two minutes, and laughed loud enough that I realized I should wait until I got home to finish watching this. I know what sexual lunacy in the Savage Dragon Sal speaks of, and it greatly amuses me it was spoken of.
