Jeep Wrangler Hood Lift Struts. Do they actually work and do you need them?

Yes, they do work, especially if you have a 3.5 lift and 37" tires. It is awesome

So far so good and I have found some retaining clips so I am hoping for the best and these work out, but I am always a little skeptical on inexpensive off-brand items.
