This DLC is no joke. Died like 15 times on the duration. Those Robots have no chill.

It fucks up my sniper stealth build. I'm forced to use close ranged weapons for this shit.
I just hack and shut down all the powerful robots and then deal with the weaker ones myself
Your not wrong i ran out of ammo at the boss fight very hard rarely is an issue but here in the dlc they are a bitch to fight i cowered in the corner and just barely survived the fight
Didn't die, but I was close a couple of times. Then I found out they suicide when losing their arms, then they were real easy.
First time i saw Mechanist take the mask of my playthrough, i thought it was Myrna from Diamond City, the synth hater. xD

Lol that would of been a funny twist, and i always wondered how the mechanist was able to collect so many resources to make new robots that blow up easy and don't produce any resources of their own. Makes sense now.

To everyone going on about beta, no I didn't get beta invite, Bethesda doesn't give a f*** about me. I have the season pass and the DLC is out already. Just like the game back in November it was released at midnight, so depending on timezone you're in, you might get it later, but it's out.

The difference being that you didn't have to go through a tedious super-quest that allowed you to use your imagination.

I like to imagine that the silver shroud costume changes Nate and Nora's personality whenever they put it on and they forget what happened when they take it off.
I can give you a tip on how to make a powerful Automaton
You need:
Laser Gatling (both arms)
Sentry arm (both arms)
Protectron head (basilisk armour for knockdown ability)
Protectron torso
Assaultron legs.
Voltaic armour on legs arms and torso.
Misc mod (Regen field)
(I used this combo and my automaton took out the ENTIRE BOS without me pulling the trigger once)

which one, silver shroud or automatron? automatron is only available as DLC and takes a few hours if you like to see everything.
I was so glad they included the Shroud! I was wondering if anything would happen if I dressed as the Shroud and sure enough, much to my delight, it made the quest better! I wish more quests, if not all, let you speak as the Shroud. :D

If you aim your scoped gun at the robots with the robotics perk, you can cause robots to explode or fight from you from far distances. You can essentially finish this entire quest without firing a single bullet

Bro you decked Ada out!😂 To me it fits too. She was heartbroken she couldn’t protect her creator and friends when the mechanist bots attacked so the Sole Survivor makes her into an unstoppable badass with gatling guns and the shish-kebab flaming sword so she can be confident it’ll never happen again. Lol it’s like the ultimate glow up when facing the mechanist.

i did this mission with my maxed out silver shroud armor without knowing there was a special interaction, it was great when she called "The silver shroud" one of the best things to do as shroud while waiting for kent activates the radio again(it takes him long to activates it i think)
after all this years but i still think sparks is really ED-DE and even has his sharing tech ending making one of the best fallout game cannon
