1. Data Governance 2. Creating Live dashboards 3. Clear summary reports that are easily communicated to management I don’t think an employer would be happy knowing an analyst they hired is potentially exposing protected data to an online AI engine (especially if they are analyzing customer data)
My same thoughts, but what if openAI releases an "enterprise version" where they guarantee that the data feeded into chat is not used for training the model?
I think people will sell books of prompts for each career field that will show prompts for basic level, mid level and senior level projects/work in each field so you don’t need to be a data analyst to ask the right questions to AI
The jobs of entry level data analysts are at threat because it essentially removes the need to hire entry level data analysts to work with data. Assuming this rate of innovation and development of AI, I came to the conclusion that the mid level and top level data analysts will do everything, getting into entry level positions will become more competitive, salaries of seniors will increase.
Before 1 year ago code interpreter was not there but this few months ago created and doing some basic stuff that are freshers we learning sql ,python to write the code but code interpreter will writing better than us so if 0 to 1 has moved then 1 to 2 would be automatically move with new technology many are not focusing about this people only considered if they lost job #Ai will not replace , A man using AI will replace
I imagine, that AI will not just do most of the standard data analysis, but also advice on the appropriate methods and importantly provide interpretations of the results.
dont you think having coding background and having a basic certificate in data analyst for anyone can easily use this openAI tool? it wont be hard to make very logical and perfect questions to ask?
i don't know if i trust chatgpt with number stuff. one time i asked something that had a simple calculation like 9 + 7 (not exactly but it was very simple) and it gave me a different answer every time. so you're going to have to recheck everything, which costs even more time than doing it yourself. when i see all the total, mean, etc. in this video i kinda cringed, any of it could be wrong.
I can agree with you on this. I made chatGPT do a time difference calculation between two specific points in time. And you guess it, it gave different and wrong answers for all three tries 💀.
GPT 3.5 totally sucks in calculating stuff. GPT4 is better. CodeInterpreter actually has a programming interface inside of it, so it should not make mistakes.
I dont think that tech will replace the job, it will be a help to be more productive. Im a financier and the human mind is needed all times as the information can be interpreted by many ways depending on the company, so this tech is actually helping me to save time but not to get the final results as I want.
Hi Sundas...I have total 6+ years of experience in Qliksense+ SQL and I want to be core data analyst.....I am thinking to take Coursera DA courses ???? And do you think doing these Courses would help me to justify 4-5 years of Python R experience for job?????...Need your help on this...I am in chaos right now
Privacy and safety of data may come into play with platforms like OpenAI. However, I believe that in a couple of years, these AI tools will be much smarter than they are today, so it will be pretty scary. We didn't have ChatGPT 2-3 years ago.
I don’t think Chat GPT/AI will put data analysts out of work the same way VAR technology will not replace human referees. It’s easier to work with and interpret data when you’re a data analyst same way it’s easier to interpret a VAR footage when you’re a referee. I think It will help data analysts to become better at their jobs and may also move them closer to the business. In the end data analysis is about solving business problems
Isn't it common sense that as proficient data experts become more productive, it will inevitably lead to a decrease in the total number of jobs? Even OpenAI is churning out such efficiencies. The current level of human data experts is such that once they get a bit familiar, a Code Interpreter (i.e. ADA) can accomplish tens of times more in the same amount of time
For those lucky to keep their jobs! Get real man. Streamlines will get rid of lots of people like all automation does! What it will also do is to guarantee people can’t feel more important based on what school they went to!! AI will be smarter than everyone!😂😂😂
My Prediction by 2025: Data Scientist= Advanced DS professionals/modelers/trainers will stay, going nowhere. Moderate/Lower level DS professionals will take the current DA role. Data Strategist= Subject/Domain/Field experts+Data related courseworks/degree+ ChatGPT or alike Generative AI i.e. CoPilot; they will sit between DS and DA professionals. Data Analysts= They will be further pushed down to the edge. BUT the biggest issue here is the security and privacy of your data. Hope this helps.
It's garbage, and they released it way too soon. Even after all this time, they are still plagued by errors and unavailability. You're literally getting errors when making this RUclips video. I don't know about you, but this doesn't belong in the real world. How can you trust the output as a business when the execution fails? It's time they produce something robust and decent, not this kind of research crap. 😛

many of the people out there and machines(including chatgpt) get that coonclusion you made. probably it's a not a casual chewing-gum kind of issue
Do you think a Universal Basic Income will be needed soon?
It is literally called Advanced Data Analysis now. And it has been like this from before the publication of this video.
If only data science was just about creating a few plots and describing data... That's the easiest part of the job.

Great video breakdown of the ChatGPT Code Interpreter! It's amazing to see how AI can assist with data analysis.
