This trip begins in the center of Boyertown and heads eastbound on PA 73 which is Philadelphia Street. The trip then turns onto PA 100 southbound headed toward Pottstown. This section of PA 100 is an unusual section of highway in that it has both freeway interchanges and grade level intersections. It would be hard to characterize in that it has characteristics of both a controlled access and non controlled access divided highway. At approximately 16:10 the trip crosses the Schuylkill River. This trip was in Berks, Montgomery and Chester Counties.
