Charrua, I hope that you have a video to add of the portion of PA 100 between Macungie and Bally so that there is a complete trip from the Lehigh Valley to West Chester along PA 100. Over the years I have travelled that portion of PA 100 quite a few times while going different places to do different things since the late 1970s. It now has been a few years since I made the trip along PA 100 from the Lehigh Valley to West Chester and I enjoyed seeing it again after not having seen it for a few years.
This trip begins on PA 100 headed southbound in Bally. The trip continues on PA 100 and then turns off onto Reading Avenue and then goes to the center of Boyertown. At that point the trip then turns eastbound on PA 73 which is Philadelphia Street. The trip then loops around in Boyertown and returns to the intersection in the center of town where the trip ends. The area seen in this video is a part of the PA Dutch Country which is beyond Suburban Philadelphia which has steadily grown outward in recent years. The area seen in this video has had some outer suburban growth but still retains its small town character and look and feel. This trip was in Berks County.
There is now a complete trip along PA 100 from the Lehigh Valley all the way to West Chester. This is a scenic trip through a mixture of countryside, small towns and larger small towns/small cities and outer suburbia. The complete trip goes through Lehigh, Berks, Montgomery and Chester Counties.
