That's a huge compliment! However am i more for Alan though! We actually played the same show as TBDM 3 months ago which was insane, Alan is for sure my biggest inspiration when it comes to my drumming! Hope you find something from my band that you may like and thanks for watching!
Thanks man! Our guitarist wanted me to do one in any of the songs, just because i know how to do them and as a "wow thing", i guess mission is complete then! Thanks again!

Well done again sir!! I would like to see you cover some Chris Adler(use to play for the groove metal band "lamb of god"...I haven't seen you cover any groove metal but I think you would enjoy some Chris Adler drumming!!! Very fun to watch him play (not as entertaining as you though (don't tell Chris that!!!)) 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Sequoia Spaar check out my Tesseract or Artificial sky cover i did a few months back, those are pretty tricky haha! But when it comes to meshuggah have i been thinking about it a few times, but never really found a song that i really wants to cover! Thanks for watching btw!
@@sadtree8871 Ouff, the first one am i not happy with at all, the second one ain't perfect either, but the mix was for sure better for the second cover!
How loose/tight is your batter/resonant heads on your Tom's? Are they equal pitch to each other? Is the resonant tightened higher or lower than you batter? However you can answer would help me in my forever search of these perfect Tom's you have!!
Hey man, i tune my batter slightly higher than the resonant heads, i tune both heads pretty loose as well, kind of trying to get a straight tone and then i just dampening it with some kind of moongel, sometimes do i tune my drums with the moongel on because if i find the sweetspot and then add a moongel could the tone shift a bit weird, but that's not always the case. I've come to conclusion that if you want to tune low and want a fat sound are the EC2 and EC resonant a great combination, these heads are much easier to tune for lower tunings, i have a Birch/Bubinga kit and i think that the birch helps a lot with the low tuning as well, my last kit which was 100% maple was nice but a bit more tricky to get that fat sound with, however did i never tried the EC resonant on that kit.. Have in mind that the toms in the video are mixed with the real sound from them and samples as well, they do sound great live, but the samples do push the punch up and clear the tone slightly more! Hope that was a good answer on your question haha..!
I kind of like it, i actuall got the two last the Meinl had at the factory, you can see the other one at the cymbal shelf! The one on the shelf kind of reminds of the Zil bell 9,5 but with less ring, and the one i use now is a bit lower in pitch, which i like! Great suggestion, i'll think about it!
How do you tune your Tom's? The whole process of when you first put on new heads and how the tension is on the batter and resonant. It sounds amazing and I want your exact sound!!
Thank you! Oh man i remember when they droped that song and i wanted to learn it, that song is madness and is for sure on my "cover list". One day will i have it out! Thanks for watching!
Thanks! for slower stuff do i recommend to play more with wrists than fingers and for faster stuff more fingers than wrists (if possible, try to always combine wrists and fingers for speed from the fingers and power from the wrists) then practise alot around 60-70% of your maxium tempo for longer runs, that will increase stamina, speed and as well technique for sure!
Have many soft objects in the room like a sofas and other soft furnitures that absorbes the sound from the kit, or get maybe soundproof pads to put around the "week" spots in the room, tbh have i not really been thinking much of it since my room is far away from perfect to make great recording in haha!
I've never been into music theory that much, so can you tell me since it got me thinking, is the blast beat in this song a triplet? It sounds like a triplet but im not sure.
Hey man! The blast in this song is played as 8th/16th notes, however is the track not that fast, 200bpm to be exact and i think you're being tricked by the guitar riff which cause you to feel the song in that way! We do have a song called Ill and Daunting Perversions from our new album and that tracks has more of a "3" feel instead of "4", however do i not play much tripplets in that song either haha! Music can be complicated sometimes....
TJC Drums Always wanted to try a hyperdrive kit (shallow toms) as well a Birch Bubinga kit! Pearl did not have it, this kit got Die cast hoops as well which i wanted for so long, i thoguht many times to get die cast for any of my Pearl kits i have, but for 700$ could i got other more fun stuff haha..
SuperStupidityTV And it feels amazing! I have some other crazy stuff coming up on the channel so stay tuned! I do have some spoilers on my Instagram ;)
I guess it's not perfect then haha? But yeah i agree with you, i recorded the album in the beginning of 2017, i had a different mindset for my drumming then, as well was it my first ever recording so i tried to keep it simple! But like i said, i agree with you, much more could have been improved here! Thanks for the input!

Douglas Hammarstam does haha!
The whole kit is blended with the acoustic sound and samples to get some extra punch to the whole mix!
if you could cover a Veil of Maya song of their newest album that would be cool. maybe Follow Me? seems the most complex
