cool interaction! i used the eternal apple in a corpseblaster build with the kaom's helm. with eternal apple + deep breaths wheel + 23% gems you'll be at around 2.93 cooldown for 8 sec warcries so they'll always be ready when enduring composure procs. i might have to play ragemage this league.
The buffs from enduring/ancestral cry scream RF to me, and with the charge synergy from hierophant RF of Arcane Devotion might be doable. Definitely something I’m going to look into for my next character. It benefits from spell damage, and hierophant gets great mana nodes.
Ive been cooking an contagion build and want to automate the contagion so it is a 1 button build.. This interaction opens up the option to use Cast When Damage Taken to automate contagion. I only have to use blight of contagion to clear multiple screens
Contagion every 4 sec is really clunky imo. Was trying to make similar build (contagion + blight) and cant figure how to auto contagion except of CWC...Only thing that really works well is intuitive link with minions but it too much investment end even add more clunkiness(press link skill sometimes)....
I did something similar on Berzerker. I went Zerker for Rage Effect which works with the helmet. I was also going Cast On Crit with Rage Vortex of Berzerking. I think scaling rage effect+max Rage (via warcry buff effect) could be real strong

those are insane interactions! But they also mean you're dealing yourself a huge amount of damage periodically, right? Can this mitigated in any way? Like petrified blood or that flask with similar effect?
yea you should switch to chief, its insanely thick when you juice warcry buff effect + the giga fire res passives ancestral cry also gives a shitload of res on its own so you can just pump chaos res on all your gear, eventually you can get even thicker with a 4th vow + divine flesh set up
Im trying to make my CWS chieftain with this tech, i use replica fragility and an elegant hubris for endurance charge so i gain/loose 1 charge/sec... still cant make the build feel more pleasing to play :(
QQ does maim actually make enemies take more damage though? The wiki states that it's just a movement penalty. The gem itself causes increased damage taken with skills maimed by it. But not maim in general
Right, maim is just a debuff that slows enemies, but when it's applied by the maim support gem the enemy takes more physical dmg (even from other skills than the one that applied maim)
I think this is super cool, but i dont think its voerall "worth" for all those passivepoints into warcry and both shield and helmet slots. Nevertheless really really cool and i see why one would use it just for the tech style factor!

25 extra rage != 25% more damage. Going from say 40 max rage to 65 is a ~13.7% more damage multiplier, which is half of what you said.

You can also use Berserk for inc rage effect and the New gloves (too overkill imo) for chance to gain Max rage
I believe the new rage gloves only work when gaining rage on hit, so I dont think they will work with rage gained from warcries or ravenous passion

Yeah you'd ideally want a lot of chaos res to mitigate it and recoup/high regen to heal back the damage taken

I used divine blessing zealotry on my reap zerker last league in order to get the rage for ravenous passion

Any way to make this work on any right hand side builds? I think the warcry passives are pretty critical, and they're all near maurader?
Use the Impossible Escape unique jewel. And anoints. If you use the Blight unique items, you can have additional anoints.
