I love the mom's cheeky comments, followed by an innocent chuckle. She's precious, imo.
Love the mom’s sense of humor! What a sweetheart.
Stunning. Would love to see a pic of the bride on her wedding day.
She didn't wear this dress. This episode is old and recycled. I recall another commenter stating that she wore a white dress.
Listen, whatver The Bride feels beautiful in and wants to wear is “bridal”, okay?? Not everyone wants to be some dippy cooky cutter wedding cake topper bride! She was absolutely spectacular in that red dress!! It’s the only gown I actually remember from having seen many of these clips! Sensational! ❤💃🏻❤
This is one bride that I wish the show had video or pictures of her in her dress at the wedding.
I know Red is not a traditional wedding dress but I love it and it does look beautiful on her.
I LOVE her choice, I think she made the best decision ❤
Red looks gorgeous 🥰
So glad she is choosing what speaks to her heart, not always something easy to do in life (especially big/memorable decisions in life), & I have a lot of respect & admiration for her for that.👏🏻🫶
I love her mom! She’s a character.
The red dress is regal and gorgeous but not for a wedding
Traditionally, red is the colour of choice for bridal gowns in India and China.
I really really would love to see a red veil on this one ❤
I wonder if it would be to much red?, White would be awful. Lol
Totally Agree!
I had the instant thought of the wedding scene of Beetlejuice! No red veil.
Me and all.
No veil at all. A tiara.
Second dress was horrible! The mom's face and comment are spot on! 😂 Even David Emanuel cracked up. Love the mom
Not sure why that gold dress was even brought out. For the show I guess. It looks like a 'great grandmother of the bride' dress.
You got a love how he’s like it’s gonna take a while to find the dress that’s right behind me standing out in all the white 😅
LOVE the first red dress. I would ware that!
It s bridal to me.
A gorgeous dress
That dress is amazing! Where else could a normal woman wear a dress like this if not on her wedding day?
The red dress is stunning ❤
How amazing that there was just one red dress just hanging there.
Scripted. They are all scripted to a point. It was placed there on purpose.
The mother is a doll
A wonderful Mom.
White wedding dresses are a fairly recent thing.
Not really, they’ve been around for centuries
She is okay with an unlimited budget that her mom is paying for? I'm always blown away by how greedy and entitled some people are.
Her mother obviously agreed to this beforehand, probably even insisted on it.
Because this happened with my parents and I recently with an expensive purchase. Not a wedding dress but something equally essential for my future and they told me a high budget they had and I tried to dissuade them a little because I knew they have to borrow a little if they do. But they were insistent that they're willing to pay more for the perfect one.
In which case, if that does happen I'm going to do everything to pay them back and help with the loan.
But parents who care do this. Obviously any parent if they had the money would do this. What I mean is... any parent worth their salt would give what they could to their child's future.
That's not always in the form of money. But they try is the point.
@@JustAnotherPerson4U I'd never consider a wedding dress something essential in life. I'd also never even allow my parent/parent to borrow money to purchase something that is NOT essential in my life to help me to continue breathing.. Even if they insisted. If they had money they were just throwing around and it wouldn't affect their retirement in the slightest, then that is a different story. Guess it depends on how a person was raised and what their parents allowed them to think was essential or a priority in life. There have been times where me and my family have struggled to keep a roof over our heads or to have enough food, so what I consider essential could be completely different to what others may see as important. What is glaringly obvious to me, may not be to someone who has been coddled or spoiled. Ones who are entitled or oblivious to what really matters in life. I'd just never consider an expensive wedding dress to be something essential in life. To get an even better gauge of what i mean, take a look at gypsy (travelers) weddings, celebrations. They spend hundreds of thousands or even go into debt, just for dresses that will one up the next clown. Priorities are skewed.
Red is bridal and white is the colour for widows in some cultures
In western culture we've been condiotned, since the 19th Century, that wedding dtesses have to be white. However in many other cultures and places that is not the norm. They're way more colorful than what we've been conditioned to wear.
While I think red dresses are great for weddings, I think this dress is an overblown prom dress
This dress is my absolute fave of all the SYTTD episodes.
Hands up for the Lovely mum
how is that gold thing even in their shop
The red dress is the best of the best!!!
Stunning
The 2nd white dress looks like sleep ware. The red dress is perfect.
Loving the red dress.❤
Sice when is "covered up" frumpy?
IMO I think the red one made her look pale . But whatever makes the bride happy
Beautiful gown ❤❤
Imagining the gasps as she presents herself to her groom in that. To each her own...
That Bride is so spoiled.
The red dress wore her instead of her wearing the dress. The white slim one was horrible for her body shape and that gold thing looked like a lounge robe.
I agree. Everybody will be talking about the red dress, not HER in the dress.
?? Apparently LIBERACE is alive and well, and living in Australia selling dresses. (Who knew.)
So those other Tryon were the only dramatic dresses David could find? One looked like a bathrobe. They could have pulled out the see through bodies and muti layer skirts she'd suit those. I'd also have liked to see her in the cream version of the red.
They did show her in the cream version of the red dress. It was a beautiful dress too, but not wow enough for her.
The red dress is totally unpractical. 😂
The red dress was wow. Didn't like the embleishment
Red rose bouquet would be gorgeous
no, it would get lost in the dress. absolutely should go with bright white roses.
It’s a prom dress, not a wedding dress. The kind of dress that will look dated and unattractive years from now.
The music was so irritating this episode
the buttons down the zip of the red dress draws the wrong attention to that zip ........ put the zip in the side seam
They showed her the ugliest dresses after the red to make her choice the red
The dress looks like it's from a vampire movie.
pity she couldn't at least show the white to her entourage. i thought it was a great compromise on drama & tradition. it still looked very dramatic and elegant but also befitting a bride. oh well, if she wants to look like lydia deetz... maybe she can set the date for halloween while she's at it...
The ivory was better than the red IMO.
👏👏👏👏💞💞💞
The dress is beautiful, but not very bridal. Reminds me of the dress Scarlet O’Hara made out of curtains!
😂😂😂
Not bridal.
The mother is a hypocrite. It’s funny how more uptight we get as we grow older.
This was scripted. The purpose of this episode is the red dress and the difference of opinion. That creates the drama the producers designed.
