She picked a dress that looks like the designer made it for her. And the friend that ran up and hugged her when she chose the dress is the friend we all need.
Absolutely nothing wrong with her hips. Glad she conquered her insecurities because the dress looked stunning on her wedding day.
from what im hearing and seeing she didnt want to show off her hips in a sexy way but more elegant and dramatic it was just the of fine tuning what kind of vibe she was looking for
@@ironknight16 From “I’m so happy I can flaunt the areas I have a little extra extra and still look good” (7:12), it sounds like she doesn’t think her hips look good
She has beautifully shaped hips- totally in like with her body
I said the same thing about her hips! If she had LESS hips, she would be shopping in the boys department!
What a beautiful women with a great body!!❤ The Dress
She chose the right dress for her silhouette and it looked gorgeous on her.
She absolutely did not! I've studied Kibbe and she has a romantic body shape. She chose the completely wrong dress for her body type. She looks weird and fat in it.
Whoa, she looked like she walked off the silver screen from the golden age of Hollywood. Absolutely stunning!
She’s a risk taker and I love that. Her friends are very supportive and wanted her to like it before they said a thing. A Halloween wedding?! Wish I was invited 👻🎃
She looked so gorgeous in that dress. It had such a vintage regal look to it. Loved the way it sparkled in the dark. This was absolutely her dress. Well worth the price.
That was the most sweet, heartwarming reaction of the bride and groom I ve ever seen, at the end. God bless their journey in life together.
That dress is THE most unusual and unique gown I’ve seen in a while, and you look amazing in it ❤
It's crazy how her body shape is the beauty standard, and yet she still hates it and would love to look different. But others would literally die to have her body shape. Just wow...
I think it's because it's an older Say Yes to the Dress. In the early 2000's and of course the 90s having big hips/curves wasn't really the look, it wasn't really the 'popular' beauty standard. It wan't until the mid teens that it came back in.
People have different tastes as far as what they find beautiful and it doesn't always go along with the standard. I don't personally care for the hippy look either, despite it being en vogue. I am naturally built that way and I work super hard to keep my lower half in shape!
Goes to show even people who looked like they have e great figure also has body insecurities
@@harleen222I agree! Our bodies should not be turned into fashion trends. The fact that this kind of thing has gone on is absolutely disgusting to me as a human being. I can work to get down to a reasonable weight for my height, even though it's challenging. But genetics are what they are. I will never have anything less than a C cup up top, nor will I ever wear anything less than a 16 (would love to get back into that size!).If society wants to think my own very Germanic genetics are "out of style," they need to talk to the men I've managed to attract (without trying!) in the recent past. They've seemed to be "all about that bass," and it has actually given me a better feeling about myself, ngl.
Exactly. I just think it's funny that hips and bum were out then, but dropped waists were in. Counter-intuitive, for sure
I love how she screams at the end😍
She had such a great entourage. When they didn't like a gown they didn't say it wasn't pretty or that she didn't look good they just said it's her dress to decide. They were very encouraging and did what every entourage should do....just be there for the bride. The groom on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired.
She looks amazing in this dress! Curves is beautiful! I wish them the best . They are a so cute couple.
I love what Randy said! Back then they had hips!! I died laughing. I have no idea what she is talking about having too much hips?
it's older video, unfortunately we have women's body shapes going in and out of fashion
🙁
I was curious to check, saw season&episode in the description and googled it, it's aired in Feb 2013.
Her hair was beautiful for the wedding. Perfect dress!
Every time I watch this show, or the episodes from the other shops, I am amazed that they can find anything in those rows and rows and rows of plastic covered white.
She has curves, not extra! So glad she picked this dress. Oh, and her entourage was really nice too.
She looked absolutely gorgeous. Like a theatrical, vintage-styled bride. I’m so glad she took a shot and found the dress for her, and felt beautiful in it. What a wonderful wedding!
I can't imagine marrying someone who tells me what my dress should or shouldn't have. Either way, she looked beautiful and I'm glad she didn't follow the ridiculous "no sparkle" rule from her fiance.
I agree with you. This is a sign of him always going to have an opinion on what she wears. He looks like a plain Jane without any style of dress.
MAYBE he meant no extreme sparkle!
I'm with you. I would have seriously thumped him for that controlling remark, reminding him that this is 2023, not 1953. Even from the photo she showed of them on their first meetings, he gave off insecure vibes. But if he's willing to grow out of insecurities as much as she is, perhaps she's the one to lead by example. Who knows? 🤷♀️
What kind of man would.not want his lady to look sexy at times. Men love hips or atleast that's what I have heard.
Heather, you have an amazing silhouette. You looked beautiful in your dress. Congratulations to you both ❤
the 2000's body trend was wiiillddd, back when being stick thin with no curves was "it" (think Paris Hilton)
Way to bodyshame. Nowadays isn’t any better. Women are expected to look like anatomically incorrect porn bots.
She has a FANTASTIC figure! Absolutely STUNNING!
Girl those hips look good! Amazing, absolutely amazing bride
She has the cutest figure. I hope that she now embraces her adorable "German birthing hips". Perfect gown for her❤
Me too. I have the same thing going on, though I have hypothyroidism making it doubly challenging to balance out my body's Neolithic tendency to hold onto weight. Oh, well. I could be dealing with a bigger condition that renders me unable to move at all. But yeah. I have my great-grandmother's hippage, and I'm cool with it. #AllAboutThatBass
Everything about her bridal look was flawless and on point!
Stunning! She embodied old Hollywood glamour.
That dress was beautiful and looked fantastic on her.. the sparkle was so pretty for an evening wedding too
Im love people with manners...stand up when greeting somebody..bride is such a good example.
I feel like her issues with her hips may stem from past bullying or criticism. She's shapely, and it looks great on her. So many women undergo surgery to get enhancements to look like this, and then you have women who have naturally-shapely bodies that try to hide it.
Such a lovely bride and the cutest couple!
The dress she picked was beautiful and looked great on her!!!
She looked absolutely stunning in that dress! Very 'old Hollywood'. Glad she chose to embrace her curves rather than trying to hide them.
She looks stunning in that dress! The makeup is sooo on point!
Let me just say to anybody who’s curious a Halloween wedding sounds great until you have kids and you’re celebrating your anniversary with your kids trick-or-treating and not just your spouse. Still really cute though.
I'm so glad that she embraced her body. She looked spectacular on her wedding day, from head to toe. One of the best brides I have ever seen.
She looked stunninggg!! And she has the figure everyone wants at todays day and age. That perfect hour glass figure 👌🏼
the dress was gorgeous and she looked amazing!!
Beautiful dress! She selected the best dress for her.
love the red lipstick!! She's rocking it.
At 1:26 - 1:31, the narrator is Roger Craig Smith and he is famously for voice acting Sonic the Hedgehog, Ezio Auditore in Assassin's Creed, Captain America in several Marvel projects, Deidara in Naruto series and so many more!
Poor thing. She looked totally normal to me and she was so insecure. Her figure is beautiful. It must be torture to see something no one else sees.
Loved the first dress
Actually loved the 2nd dress
Not the 3rd dress for sure
Love the top on dress 4, but hate that freaking skirt
Dress #5 looks amazing
I thought the first one looked perfect on her but she also looked beautiful in the one she chose
I love the brides voice , So soothing
I absolutely love, love, love this dress and it is only made more beautiful on this bride. She glams the dress up in that red lipstick. Truly old glam Hollywood!
This is one of the most beautiful wedding gowns I’ve ever seen!! It looks fantastic on her, I love Halloween too, it’s a great time of year for flowers, all the warm fall colors & that gorgeous Art Deco dress, very old Hollywood style, chefs kiss 💋
Sister in law sitting there looking at her in the dress then says "I can see Heather in this dress"!!
I say we'll I would hope so seeing how she's standing right in front of you in it!!! 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
She chose the perfect dress .. literally made for her 😍❤️
Her hips are gorgeous. She is gorgeous. I wish them love and laughter always ❤❤❤
If by she's hippy you mean she's got an amazing figure, then sure. Crazy how sometimes we fixate on stuff that really isn't a problem at all. She looked stunning
I’m loves her energy and excitement 😅
I thought the other dresses look like they were swallowing her whole, so I like the dress she finally chose, though I think an a-line that kissed her hips might have been a good compromise to start with.
I don't think she sees the same thing everyone else sees. She isn't "hippy" at all. ...she's just.....woman shaped. She isn't an overly exaggerated hourglass and she's definitely not a pear shape, she just has some curves.
I'm curious, what do you think pear shaped means?
Yea. She's gorgeous
❤️ the dress she picked
she looks amazing in every dresses but the one she picks is truly her dress - as it truly pops out and accentuates her❤❤❤
The dress Heather picked was perfect!
“And said some stuff” I’m dead
She ROCKED that dress!
She has a lovely shape and her dress looks wonderful on her!
That is one beautiful dress!
She looks stunning in that ‘sparkly’ dress!
She just looked fantastic❤. The dress was perfect for her🎉
they are too cute together!! ❤❤
Glad she chooses the dress she brought a picture of , it was beautiful on her . She was absolutely gorgeous on her wedding day .
Give credit to the consultant for waiting to put it on her . The bride was worried about having a woman's shape . Women embrace what is natural and stop letting society tell you things that are not normal to the average woman . This is why supper model comes so few .
And there was the bit where she said, ‘I can’t decide how I’d wear my hear . . ‘ 😮😄
I've always wanted hips like hers! Crazy how we all want what we don't have!❤
It’s always mind boggling to me watching these older videos, and seeing the difference in the beauty standard. Around that time, people really emphasized the thin/flat figure, and went against the busty/curvy figure.
Now a days, that is the exact figure women are paying thousands of dollars to achieve.
I’m so happy she could look past the insecurity, and find the dress she felt the most beautiful in. She looks so stunning!!
She doesn't want to emphasize her hips but shows up for her appointment wearing horizontal stipes
Half the women in America would kill for her gorgeous figure! She looked awesome!
Loved her hair longer and different color and the last dress she picked looked absolutely gorgeous on her it was a good pick.
Give me your hips then! Lol
Normally, for her pear shaped body (hips are wider than the bust) you want to accentuate the top to bring more balance to your body shape. But there are definitely times that you should just ignore that and this is one of those times. She looked great
I hated the dress she picked when I saw it on at the salon, but the final footage from the wedding looked stunning, def Old Hollywood!
That dress was gorgeous on her.
Its not only a video about embracing the own features and changing the method of dealing with fears and shame about the own body via starting to show yourself instead of hiding. It s also a video about what specialists need to translate from folks into expertise-language and being a patient and sensitive psychological, emphatic support for people in finding what feels good for them. The cuts of the dresses suggested by the bride had the "wrong" cuts for a task of "not showing hips" as the woman at first right away said. ;)
I love her hips, and i hope she loves them too after falling in love with this dress, she looked stunning!!!
Absolutely beautiful
She looked amazing on her wedding day!
She looked AMAZING!!!!!!
The dress she showed a pic of was mermaid
Nothing bad about her perfect hips and perfect body !! Dress AMAZING
friggin STUNNING
I love all the dresses she tried on, damn! I love the dress #2 the most! It looks so good on her.
That dress was made for her. So gorgeous!! 😍
Heather was a gorgeous bride in that dress. I hope she appreciates her great figure now. 😊
If I had an unbuttered-overcooked-artichoke-looking man telling me my dress better not have sparkles, he’d be shopping for a casket, not a tuxedo.
The dress is beautiful on her.
Ohmygod what a beautiful woman. I love her smile
Stunningly gorgeous!!
She looked gorgeous.
Heather's hips look amazing in that dress!!
Theres nothing wrong with her hips
Her dress is beautiful. ❤
She's darling but she has body dysmorphia. So funny that the gorgeous dress she finally chose was what she didn't want. So happy for a little personal growth here.
The dress was truly stunning
Her hips are lovely! Great dress!
She looks awesome in all the dresses she tried on
What a pretty bride and gorgeous dress!
He was "extremely impressed" ...How romantic 🙄
Beautiful!!!
Beautiful! Looks super on her!
