Hello my friend I noticed that you using limited strap can you tell me what's the measurement on the limit strap and how long is the brake line I'm just finishing up mine thank you
1) sorry for not getting back to you on the limit straps. I don't know off the top of my head how long they are. Everyone's setup will be different depending on how tall it is and where you put the mounts for them. 2) For the springs or any other equipment, see it here ericsxj.com/vehicle.htm
The lower rod like structures are called the lower links. They help keep the axle in the correct position vertically. Then there's the upper links. They are there to keep the axle from tilting backwards... By that I mean on the x axis. Normally, you'd need a panhard or a Watts link as a device to keep the axle from moving laterally. This is required for most setups, such as 3 links or parallel 4 links. However, here a triangulated 4 link setup is seen. Those, and double triangulated 4 links don't need such devices to keep the axle from moving laterally. PS: I know this comment is from 5 years ago... I don't care
I love watching the underside of crawlers way more than watching the whole truck. Awesome Video
This guy's build thread is IMPRESSIVE!
Thinking about doing this to my rear suspension. Thanks very helpful.
love it man need to do a vid like this on my 3 link wishbone 4runner and see whats really going on
Are you running a rear sway bar?
Nope
Any videos or anything on how you did your exhaust seems nice and quite trying to figure out my setup as we speak

EricsXJ gotcha well anything is better than straight pipe lol.
Good lord I'd never let this kid lead ever again....

Really 6 feet and 9 yard ok that is how far my flex so is good then
Can 4 links curve? My wheels are rubbing on my mega mud truck
no welded tubes to center housing? por que
What truss is that?
Dana 60 truss from Artec.
one more question what coil are u using

What prevents the axle from moving left to right? I expected a watt linkage or something similar?
+MrSaemichlaus The triangulation of the arms (the angle of which they are pointed toward each other) keeps the axle centered.
Its called Differential.
EricsXJ Does this eliminate the need for a track bar, and if so. What truss kit is this?
Triangulated or double triangulated doesn't need lateral relocation, like a panhard or watts link, as you said
@@kristupasarlauskas3425 lol
what dose the 4 link actually do ?
better chassis dynamics

4 link suspension but no locker?
ARB. I engaged the locker at 1:10 after the wheels start spinning.
+EricsXJ I was about to ask about that. Figured I'd check the comments and see if there was already an answer.
Nice👍
kinda looks like bleepinjeep white xj directly behind
hahah it does to agga
YEAH !!
Something sounds wrong ..just saying 🙄😂
