We do see a crest that give you the ability to pogo like the knight. So maybe an added feature of that is pogoing spikes.

I hope the title screen will get an upgrade because right now it looks good but it looks almost exactly like the Grimm troupe title screen from the void heart edition other than the fact where it has hornets needle.
Hopefully there will be different title screens you can unlock by doing different endings

Im very excited, but the thing is, even when its released, there will still be all the dlcs and future updates to go, so we wont really be getting the "finished" product on release, i would just like to not have to wait for the final product even after its been released

I think people who got to fight lace is doing it all wrong. I would have stocked up on silk and enter the boss arena. From there I would spam the straight pins at lace and maybe hit her a bit to get her to the first stagger. I'll get a few hits in and right after the stagger is done I'll spam the silk move or the skill. And from there I'll just play smartly by waiting for lace to dash forward so that I can pogo her. That's one of the problems I have with these people playing the demo, there perfect places to pogo yet they decide not to. But they would keep trying to pogo an enemy before until they give up and get hit even though they could pogoed right before getting hit. But that's how I would have fought her.

I'm pretty sure this is a sequel, if it was a prequel it would be set in Hallownest. I guess this happens after the Godmaster ending.

Lace is indeed a main boss. She's essentially the equivalent of Hornet in Hollow Knight, and you'll fight her twice.

Her grunts are gonna be annoying 5 min into the game. Hopefully we can turn it off but not her dialogue tho. The knight was silent so this was not an issue.

Like CAngel said, it will be way faster. Plus as we see with the most recent trailer, they turned down the speed of which hornet heals.
@@aydenrozzelle7691 I know this is very late and you've probably figured this out by now, but that slow healing was most likely the result of a crest.
The hard is the fact that she uses her entire silk reserve to heal. If you're at 1 mask and you've got no silk, you have to deal 8 hits to be able to refill and heal.
@@raven.......... Maybe. Looking back, the crest worn during the scene has 6 spikes upon it. It also gives hornet to pogo similar to the knight. The slower bind animation could be a side effect.
The spool also has a sort of notch. Allowing hornet to bind with fewer amount of silk. This is likely the reason.
I love team cherry ... but that Jump animation is kinda jank tbh, Just sayin.

We had the opportunity to record this gameplay in a game session at an event, for a very short time and quickly, since there were more press media waiting to play it. Obviously, it was an incomplete version, since it still had many months of development.

they have been working on it since it came out (about 2 and a half years) minus DLC which PROBALY took them between 4-6 months and since hollow took 2 years and 3 months to make when team cherry was stiil figuring out how to do stuff, I guess we can say it will come in 3-6 monts.
But hey, that's just a theory.
I have a feeling it’ll come out before Christmas this year. I really hope so. Also maybe October for the spooks or something?
since this is a sequel they're likely not building it from scratch. it might not take terribly long. at the same time it looks ike they're going all out, so still a long ways away.

Apparently, Hornet shares the same retreat crawl animation that Grimm has, and their face shapes are similar as well. I wonder if they are related in some ways.
It was said in one of Team Cherry's early blog posts that hornet was trained and raised by the Hive Queen and thus named Hornet, as Herra the Beast had sacrificed herself for the Hollow Knight's seal.

I can imagine the forest of bones having up-beat music but it will not be just ambiance. Deepdocks reminded me of the royal waterways. I think the forest of bones music will use wood instruments like the marimba, making it seem like someone is playing on a bones.
