I dont think Knight is "unplayable" as everyone makes it out to be, it looks well enough for the platform its on, the biggest problems that they need to fix are the distracting jitter when you're gliding and heavily improve Batmobile framerate in the open world cuz thats the roughest part. If you play the AR challenges instead of the story mode then the Batmobile doesnt have awful framerate drops in its arenas and is actually pretty enjoyable to drive, they need to achieve that same result in open world driving.
Are you kidding me? How low can you sink to justify a crappy port? I mean SURE, batman jitters in air like he's got parkinson's, It's FINE if the driving, which makes up like 50% of the game is absolutely abysmal. It's not "unplayable". You know cockroaches are not technically "Inedible". But you wouldn't advocate anyone to have em right? Enough with the sad coping.
So glad I managed to cancel my order just in time when the footage started coming out. This sh*t never should have been released like this. I don't understand the sad state of some people who excuse a bad product (at full price no less) just because it's on a weaker system. You didn't have Witcher 3, Doom Eternal make excuses. They just came out good. You didn't have your main character spaz out like he's got parkinson's. Didn't see Witcher start freezing as soon as he got on a horse. At the end of the day, we should be served a decently playable, finished product. This thing here is barely holding together and woefully unpleasant to look at in motion. Who the F can actually justify this as a fine experience? If you keep eating up sh*t, you'll keep getting served sh*t.
I dont think you Realise but Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are Also in the Trilogy and they Run perfectly So Your Over reacting like Crazy and Acting like Arkham Knight is the only Game in the Trilogy
That would be all lovely, if they didn't force you to buy all three for 60 bucks. So, essentially, I'm forced to cough up 1/3 of the price for this piece of crap that I don't want. Why not sell them seperately?@@vRxplay-
Lets compare a whole console with guts and all with a handheld with outdated tech and whine about it...makes sense. It's impressive they found away to get this on switch and it's a few patches away from being better.
For a low end hardware is good enough, but pls don't buy low end hardware when there is similar handhelds on the market with a very similar switch oled price and with double (or triple) the storage, quadruple of ram and triple the graphics
@chevalierkraken Switch oled-$350 Steam deck - $400 Your math ain't mathin. Also, what does "hard to optimize" mean? Graphics settings? Who struggles with graphics settings? The only thing wrong with the comment you replied to is that they undersold the value difference. The Steam deck has 4 times the storage (64 vs 256), 4 times the ram (4 vs 16), and while hard to quantify the difference in performance with different architectures, it's big enough that games that can run at full 800p 60 fps on high settings on steam deck, like Doom, will instead run with less than the minimum settings avaliable on pc, with less than native resolution 720p, at 30 fps on switch.
I dont think Knight is unplayable the only problems that need to be fix is the gliding and when your riding the batmobile and when your doing combat thats the problem
If I had a Switch, I'd probably play this version all the time since I don't really care about Framerate, Graphics or Textures like that (as long as it doesn't look like pre-alpha footage like M1K Switch, then it's good). Sure, it may not be the best version of the game besides having everything from the others, but it's still playable.
@@xXSonTJXxxNintendo systems have always been weaker power and graphics wise but they always innovate in tech. Wii had the motion controls, Wii U had the game pad and the switch is a handheld and home console.

Jesus h christ wth does everyone expect from the Nintendo Switch? It looks fine considering that you're comparing a console from this gen to one from last gen and even then switch had a lot going against it. some people in the gaming community need to find a new hobby 🙄
For real, it's just like the MK1 situation, I played it for over a hundred hours and it's fine especially with the patch, its the Invasion mode and greed is the problem and the latter is on all platforms. People just love to judge with their eyes and nit actually play it. Spider-Man 2 must be a spectacular game from the graphics alone huh?
Origins is the only Batman game I can recall I’ve played a lot of. I’ve played a bit of Gotham Knights but I remember Origins well. The Deathstroke and Batman fight!!
Batman: Arkham Knight is borderline unplayable on Nintendo Switch In early December, Batman: Arkham Trilogy was released on Nintendo's portable console. If with Asylum and City everything is not so bad, then with Knight there are big problems. We chose the main thing from the technical analysis of Digital Foundry. • You can only dream of 30fps in this game - most of the time the frame rate fluctuates between 20 and 25. The situation is aggravated by the uneven distribution of frames: stuttering occurs, the character periodically throws back, and while driving the Batmobile, the game freezes for one or two seconds ; • At least something close to 30fps can be achieved in indoor and on-foot segments. In portable mode, the resolution is 540p, and in stationary mode it increases to 810p; • As part of the optimization, everything in graphical terms was affected - character models, clouds, lighting, water, textures and drawing distance. In some cutscenes, the camera is closer to the characters than on other platforms; • One of the mini-games was broken on Switch. The player needs to use the sticks to direct the rays, but there are no rays on the Nintendo Switch. Digital Foundry expert Oliver Mackenzie was just guessing for a few minutes; • The ports of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City appear to be based on the original versions and not the Return to Arkham remaster for PS4 and Xbox One. On the one hand, there are no improvements to lighting and some textures, on the other hand, there are no controversial changes; • The Switch version of Arkham City is largely identical to PC on high graphics settings. Perhaps the self-shading in the port is of better quality, but the textures take longer to load; • Corridor Arkham Asylum, released in 2009, has frequent drops of up to 20fps. In portable mode the situation is better. Arkham City also experiences drawdowns, but not as often; • Both games have dynamic resolution. In stationary mode, the maximum is 1080p, and in portable mode - 720p.
But Nintendrones say that "Nintendo Switch hardware is almost on par with Xbox One" all the time. The level of delusion of the Mario cult is surreal, lmao.
