Well, I did that and I made speakerphone also with external microphone. Yet I have one issue- the pin wit baterry plus you gave is always powering on my BT module.. I would prefer to turn it on with ON/off of radio or with turning on car keys.. ideas?

I've followed your connections to the pinouts and its worked great. one issue I'm facing though, is that the car speakers only sound proper on the left door speakers and very faint on the right door speakers. Any idea how i can fix this, please?

I wanted to connect it to my phone via Bluetooth So I bought Car Bluetooth Module Aux Receiver Cable Adapter For Mercedes Benz W169 (audio 20) from Ali Express. It has a connector 12 pin, a red and a black wire attached to the Bluetooth device. in the car I pulled the audio 20 out and connect the 12pin connector in. I'm wondering now what to do with the red and the black wire. I wonder are these wires to power up the Bluetooth or something and where and how to connect them?

Z71___ You just need to connect to your car's aux if it has one. The Mercedes unit here has three pins which on some models connects to a glove-box mounted aux-in jack. For cars without this, you can buy a ready-made 3.5mm audio cable that connects to it via a block connector. I think you can get similar connectors for other cars on ebay/Amazon. I have this exact same radio but I bought a cable and hard-wired a Bluetooth adapter (link below) to my fuse box and connected the audio to the adapter cable. The advantage of my method is that you can use the device to control phone calls, use hands-free via the in-built mic with audio through the speakers, a device connect two devices at once. If you have aux-in at the front of your head unit or somewhere in the dash then this would be an easy way. I think there are BT adapters with those 12pin plugs, yeah the only thing you could do to vastly improve those is steal the 12v antenna power like I did, and have them start up with the radio - that way they'll reconnect automatically when you start the car

This will mean you'll have to always manually connect to the radio My solution enables the bluetooth module to always automatically connect to the last known devices at power-up
Darieee I’m hooking the power to the 12v fuse box so when the car is on the chip is on. I’m using the same chip as you so won’t it connect automatically anyways? Do I have to worry about adding the the volume buttons and connecting button on the chip? Or will my phone be able to control that. All I’m wiring is the aux output and power for the chip
Don't need to add any buttons to it, it goes to full volume automatically I would however again suggest you power it from the antenna lines, otherwise it will not automatically connect to your phone You WILL regret it if you won't do it :)), I can guarantee it
No, sounds the same, don't worry The 4.2 ones have slightly better reception, and have synchronized volume with the phone ... but, for your application that really doesn't matter too much

An LM7805 would indeed be a good choice, check my first bluetooth radio tutorial, there I explain how one of those is used You can get them at any electronics store if you want then fast, or on ebay.com from our friends in china if you're not in a hurry (don't but the cheapest though)

Hi, I need your help. I'd donate you some money if you could help me with my problem. I'm trying to run my OEM sat nav without the radio, since I'm upgrading to a aftermarket 2din radio. The problem is, that the nav voice signal comes from the sat nav and goes to the radio. In other words: no OEM radio -> no sat nav voice. A guy once solved this by keeping half of the radio in and solder a little speaker to it. I would like to add a speaker aswell but I don't want to have half a radio hanging loose behind my dash. That's not how I do things. I have pinouts and service manuals with which one could find out where the sat nav audio signal is coming from but sadly I don't know alot about audio signal stuff and amps. I do alot of electrical mods but I'm not sure if I can figure this one out and I don't want to wrack the nav. Would be great if you could get in touch with me so we can figure this out together.

Speaker surround has probably disintegrated. You need to change the speaker, for which you'll need an adaptor if it's not the original

Darieee I purchased a 4.0 Bluetooth chip by accident. Will it effect the sound quality compared to 4.2? Can’t refund now because it’s been shipped :(
