Oddly enough, Old Bear's channel has a story today that also included a dog being killed by a sasquatch. It's sad because dogs are a part of our family and they make loyal companions.

We have black bears all the time in my back yard. Because of this I take my bird feeders in at night and KEEP MY DOGS ON A LEASH. One was a black cur mix that came from a rescue group from Alabama. I live in NY. Awesome hunting dog that took many ground hogs down to my dismay. Had the run of the fields and woods around our house. I had to keep him on a leash because he was so fearless he would chase the bears away. Hudson Valley is packed with bears. The thought of losing him to a unknown entity would have devastated me. I miss his BEAR bark so much. RIP Fritz!
My sympathies, e brown. My beloved mini schnauzer passed, due to old age, over a year ago, and I still cry when I think of her❣she was my best friend and shadow. A few months after she passed, I went to the local animal shelter and adopted a mix Jack Russell Terrier (Cam gave me the idea). Let me tell you, he IS hell on wheels, but I couldn't love him (Finnegan) more! I couldn't think of a better way to honor my little Daisy Belle, so I adopted my little hot rod (he is a great dog & friend/shadow) in her memory. The hard part of being a pet owner is that they do not live as long as we would like them to. Blessings to Fritz & Daisy Belle 🐕

Cam I live in Anson County North Carolina also .I can say whole heartedly that a big foot sighting does not surprise me. I used to drive through a heavily wooded swamp every morning at 4 The majority of that drive was spent praying my car would not break down. This whole county is wooded and loaded with deer and hogs and coyotes. I'm 62 and still leave my house for work at omg it's early.some mornings I hear a lot of traffic in the woods next to my car and It just creeps me out.
As a dog lover . Watching this video makes my heart race when I can't see one of the dogs for a while . Great stories .

Brings me back to my childhood and sitting at the feet of a favorite Aunt who would tell the best stories about a Catholic hospital she worked at in the '40's, and the antic of one particular Nun. I love Bigfoot, I drive my family crazy with it. In one episode you mentioned people say they fall asleep listening to you read. I would take that as a compliment.

I don’t like it when dogs get hurt. But I love DC! So I gotta listen.
I live a couple miles from the Smoky Mtn Nat Park and I ran into an older couple from FL last week who told me their neighbor just had a dog killed by a "black bear" while she was out walking it at night. She said the "bear" ran out of the wood line snatched the dog with its paw, ran back toward the wood line, stopped and crushed the dog between its "paws" before running back into the woods. I said that didn't sound like a bear to me but I just let it go after that
Yea its bad enough she lost her dog, she didn't need to know more right then! Seems they hate dogs and I can only imagine its because dogs alert people. Unless its another food source which is hard to think of for humans.

@@helenmccormick1982 it never used its mouth and it didn't maul the dog it crushed it. It was 9:30 PM shoo it was dark and I guess if you don't believe in Bigfoot you would have to believe it was a bear no matter how little sense that makes
@Thunder Bolt my husbands brain went to bear the first time he saw one walking upright straight up a steep hill. Our brain has no other reference for it the first sighting.
@@helenmccormick1982 they usually do that at the place of attack. Living in Montana i have never seen one drag thier prey to the wood line or actually go after a dog. Little dogs would spook them more. They usually are female with cubs to take food anywhere.

My Dad was on a frigate during WWII. My three cousins all came back from Vietnam: Jerry was on an aircraft carrier, John worked on a supply tug that went up the rivers in Vietnam to our soldier's camps and Dan, a machinist, learned to repair rocket helicopters..

My grandad is from anson county, nc. He told me one night while he was driving he saw some baboon looking animals in the road. They ran off of the road on all fours then stood up and ran on two legs in the woods

I’m totally in agreement with you, Cam, about caves/caverns. I firmly believe that there are things that live deep inside the earth that are NOT Man’s best friend. I had that sense in the Oregon Caves near Grant’s Pass, and the caves near Guilin in central China. In both cases, I felt the tourists were being watched and Heaven help anyone left behind!

I got a real hearty laugh from the video of your dogs. The young ones were frisking ahead of you as you rode your bicycle. You turned your camera around and caught the two older ones plodding slowly along behind side by side. It just struck me as so funny! I'm one of the old dogs now myself, so I felt their pain. Darn, I can get caught up, you are too fast and I just had a 3 hour marathon while crocheting! The last was on ufos and I loved it as much as the bigfoot. Im hooked!. Been getting alot of crocheting done lol. I saw the iceman back around 1973. At a carnival in Carey, Ohio. Looked pretty darn real to me. Teeth were blocky. It was covered in thin hair. It's nose looked human except it was flatter. It was not real big. It had bigger brow ridges. Looked to be around 180 pounds. It had it's hand up and the hand looked pretty human. It looked like a primitive human. NOT an ape. It looked very real to me. If it was a hoax it was very well done. A real artist and craftsman would have to be responsible because it look very real, like a hairy, primitive human.
