no one compares to k.d.lang. It not only that she is a fabulous singer, it's the way she sings the songs and the feeling that she brings to them. She gives 110% to each song, all the time. I am amazed that she can continue to sing each song as if it's the first time. She's a true artist and professional. Long live k.d.lang. We are so blessed to have her still singing and giving us such joy.
On Pam's recommendation i happen to be here,and i got to say that i enjoyed K D Lang's version of 'rose garden'... without sounding rude, she puts Lynn Anderson in the shade.
They both sing it a bit different. I just love k.d.'s voice soooo much, that anything she sings, I love! I put her cd's on and they take me to a different place. Love, love, love, her voice. The best!

Many people consider that era to be the classic era of the band. Due, in no small part I'm certain, to excellent tutelage by k d lang!
@LariatAngel Yes, a really great album was Angel With a Lariat. I have the original LP on Homestead or is it Bumstead?, almost untouched, but this 2nd album is superior. Magnificent musicianship.
