Nice to see you both back. I think Jo is right about the class distinction. Priscilla went Hollywood and didn't want to associate with Elvis' kin anymore. For some reason for a person who has lived off the Presley name for all these years she thinks she's better than everyone else. Priscilla has made a career out of playing the victim.

Seems to me P only enjoys the fame and money Elvis the Performer brought her life otherwise she wouldnt have divorced him. And she has lived off his name since his death. Shame on her!
Glad EFM is back! I am also happy to learn that Elvis had no intention of reuniting with Priscilla. Many Elvis peeps have said that Elvis’s biggest regret was not getting back together with her. The million dollar question is finally answered-thank you!

Listen to Mike Stones story he did several years ago. Prissy pants clearly had Stone in her sights as soon as Elvis said he admired Stones Karate performances. She knew he had a wife and children and had the nerve to want to meet them prior to her romance with Stone. She was so pushy & literally fell onto Mike in a childlike but seductive manor. Priss unfortunately turned out to be a manipulative calculating opportunist. I refuse to go to Graceland to see her stuff inside the Elvis museum considering she is the EX-WIFE and not the widow.

Well the movie is based on her book, which she didn't write until the 1980's, '82 I think, so she couldn't have made this movie in 1973. They did make a movie of it in 1983, a two part movie for TV, in which all she did was complain also.

It is really no big deal. Billy and Jo said nothing bad about the movie, they just didn''t care for it. Always some truth and some not in movies. It's just that a movie.

Feel like I've known them all my life and I only met them a few times I totally agree on there opinion on the both movies that's exactly how those movies came across with me and I've never met Elvis in my life.

I never watched the movie Priscilla, and never will. Priscilla tried to destroy Elvis legacy but thank God it failed.
This movie was definately for the money, it did her no favours in the eyes of Elvis fans. Im the Elvis fan and saw the movie with my daughter who isnot, my daughter turned to me at the end and said “ shes making him look bad”. ❤🇦🇺

I'm fed up with the false portray of that poor Priscilla victim of an unfaithfull Elvis : she had affairs with married men when she was married, she was cheating on Mike Stone when she was still supposed to live with him, she left him for a married man , and even the father of her son was already married. How a female director could portray her as a victim ?

Priscilla shows herself in the movie wit h pigtails when she met elvis and in realty she looked 21 with her short curly head and elvis was not 6 foot 5 and priscilla was not under 5 foot

The movie was boring to me. I think the first Elvis movie with Douglas was the best. Priscilla begged to be in his life. She gained who she is by being in his life. She should praise him, not herself. Seems like she had problems making relationships work herself.
I just watch the movie because ik it’s full of lies. If she didn’t like the way it was she had plenty of time to go back to where she came from

Agree. I recently read an interview with Lisa Marie from Playboy. In it she said that all her memories of Graceland were happy memories. She didn't have one bad memory of her staying at Graceland or her being on tour with Elvis. Elvis and Lisa Marie loved each other so much and their pictures show it.

If Priscilla would have really loved Elvis, she would have never written "Elvis and me", at least not the way she did. I read it back because of Coppola's movie and noticed all the lies she wrote, like pretending that she would have met Stone only in 1972. But what hurts the most is about how she felt when Elvis proposed : "our love would no longer be a secret" (it's never been) "the many girls who were auditioning for my role were over" (as if she was herself playing a role from the day she met (or asked to meet) Elvis, and still is now).
The way she was pulled out of HS by her parents only two months shy of her HS graduation shows the desperation for money by her family. Why not graduate with your own class and then move away? It was only two months to wait and she was turning 18. Nope, it was strike while the iron was hot, before Elvis changed his mind. Sandy Martaindale was the first young girl that Elvis asked to raise. Her mother was a chaperone when they dated and would not allow her daughter to live with Elvis. Even Ginger who was older would not live with Elvis being unmarried. Even today its not a nice thing for a young lady to live with an older man. What kind of parents do this/ GREEDY ones.
@@Somee989 she begged her parents to let her go back to the United States, her parents have nothing to do with that; she is the one who wanted to stay close to Elvis. At almost 18, parents can't really say "no" to their daughter, but they dealed/checked the conditions of her short stay. She usually erases where she really lived between June '63 and December '66, letting people believe that she would have always stayed in Graceland, which is untrue.
Elvis believed in a God that was true, good, faithful & gracious! And it showed! His heart shined through!
Priscilla would not be on the map if it was not for Elvis.

When Priscilla says she didn't have any friends, I think she may have meant she didn't get to pick her kind of friends...and of course those friends wouldn't have been from the Presley family. All I know is she has lied too many times for me to have any respect for her whatsoever.
She didn't want any girls her age because she was afraid that Elvis would like them. That's why she stick with the mm wives.. she was protecting her investment.
she still has friends she met due to Elvis : Joanie Esposito/Kardashian; Jerry Schilling, Patsy Presley, Tom Jones ; she also used to consider George Klein or Joe Esposito as her friends. She met Olivia Bis when she was still living with Elvis. Priscilla without friends of her own is one of the numerous ways she unfairly puts the blame on Elvis.
She had a car and a bottomless credit card. Is there any reason she could not make any friends of her own?

I totally agree with you about the movie it was boring the acting was really bad and I don't know as much as you but I just didn't feel it was accurate in a lot of ways not a good movie at all.

Priscilla's exploitation of Elvis Presley and his legacy for profit continues unabated.
Notwithstanding the fact that Priscilla proclaimed that she had to leave Elvis to "find her own identity" and live "her own life" she has, for 50 years, exploited her position as the mother of Elvis' only child to obtain money, publicity and acting jobs. Priscilla never wanted to live her own life but she wanted a life in which she had control over Elvis Presley and their daughter! She achieved her goal at the expense of Elvis, Lisa Marie, Benjamin, Riley Harper, Finley, Elvis-fans and many others.
I think Prissy is a little touched lol She wouldn’t be nothing with out Elvis for sure . She should be lucky she knew you good people . Thank you for this video glad you guys are back ❤
The class, dignity and honesty that you all show as a family is truly something to behold. I watched the Priscilla movie. I felt it was a waste of time and money. Same old story she always tells. She will never change the mind of a true Elvis fan, and those of you who knew him contribute to a huge part of the positive of keeping his legacy alive. If any Elvis fan wants to know the truth it’s best to come watch your alls videos because your version of events has never changed and that speaks volumes. Elvis was a human, he made mistakes. That being said I’m sure she did as well but she never includes hers, just his. Totally hypocritical but not surprising as this is the second movie she’s made in attempt to smear him and change the narrative. By now we all know the truth and know the players involved. She can never take away or rewrite history as long as we have truth tellers like you two. Thank you for sharing all that you do with us.

Elvis was VERY WORLDLY in the ways of Women. I think she played a role to get the ring. She became EXACTLY who she thought he was looking for. I think by the time Elvis caught on, it was too late. He was backed into a corner. He loved her because she grew up with him. She came at a rough time and filled a void.
What parent sends their kid across the world to live with a Movie Star? Rock Star? They read the tabloids. They were looking for a check. Her dad was willing to compromise because technically she wasn't his. They knew his history of cars, home, and $$$. So from 17 up she only knew $$$ & Luxury. I think she never remarried because she likes playing the Priscilla Presley role. She wanted fame for herself. Thats why she used Elvis as a stepping stone. She knew Elvis would eventually leave, because she seen how hard getting married was for him. Thats why she had Lisa to secure her spot. She started dancing because she wanted to BECOME a star just like his co-stars. Her leaving Elvis for LA, INSTANTLY trying to secure a role, and the same month giving a centerfold interview tells you all you need to know. Then reading their divorce contested for tripple the money tells me Everything. Then in Becky Yanceys book she says Priscilla never said ANYTHING or turned over any of her credit cards. She continued to charge EVERYTHING to Elvis - Even Mike Stones clothes to Elvis. Becky says she finaly spoke Vernon in 1976 and the turned off all the cards & removed her as Beneficiary!! She almost cashed in again! She never called or asked what happend, why were they no longer working. They closed all her accounts in Beverly Hills... Crickets. That made me see her motives CRYSTAL CLEAR.
Then you read their divorce and she only got spousal support (todays equivalent of $175k a year for just her to spend, the bills were already being paid by him) if she never remarried & never co-habitated as a wife. THATS why she refused to remarry when people like Robert Kardashian kept proposing. Now add in her relationship with Lisa, her grandkids, her suing them. If you know anything about Scientology the way they interogate them, the rundown, the hole for not trying to defect, the extreme grilling of Children vs Adults, it fosters SERIOUS Narcissism & completely fractured families. She chose that. All to hob knob with celebrities at the celebrity center. She wanted fame for HERSELF the entire time. Money is her motive. With Elvis and with her OWN KIDS.
SHE met Elvis and pursued HIM knowing he was with Anita Woods for 6+ years. Ever heard the saying "How you catch them is how you loose them" ??? Well she KNEW he was cheating. She knew he was cause he confessed. He even told her it wouldn't be the last or only time either. SHE QUOTES HIM HERSELF saying "I Need a woman who understands these things happen, sometimes these things get out of hand..." and threw a vase. 😂 SHE CHOSE TO STAY & GAVE HIM THE GREENLIGHT. She talks in her book finding women's names/numbers in Palm Beach house mail box. ALLLLLL PRIOR TO KIDS, PRIOR TO THE WEDDING. She was there for Money and Fame. Her life after ELVIS PROVES THIS.

How did Elvis feel when he read her interviews in 1973 explaining how bad she felt being his wife ? What about Elvis' fight for his custody rights ? When did Elvis was aware that she was only after his money, even capable to make him sell Graceland if needed ? The first problem with the movie that Coppola dared to make is pretending that Elvis would be the only one to blame for the bad relationship they had together. Only a faithful wife has the right to complain about her husband's unfaithfulness. Priscilla was herself unfaithful at least less than a year after the marriage she wanted.
Priss also allowed herself to be involved in threesomes with Elvis and lesbian affairs. Even Sonny said he did not understand how Elvis let this go on with a "wife" & not some prostitute. I believe Elvis got disgusted with what she would do, anything to please him losing her self respect. She got resentful about the other women & the spending & wanted it all for herself.

Billy and Joe should be acknowledged in these supposed history defining movies as you are, in fact, blood kin and were there throughout Elvis' life and it should be recognized. And for the record, y'all do not come across as hillbillies or hicks, for sure!!!

The movie was Boring, not entertaining and just another movie about Elvis that just does not capture the Real Elvis.
I Pray that Billy and Jo would make a movie that finally shows the public who Elvis truly was. I think a mini series would be best as it's hard to get his life in a 2 or 3 hour movie
Until that is done Elvis will always be misrepresented which gives the haters more fuel to drag his name down.
Especially the people on the fence about Elvis and also the young people deserve to know the truth about him then they can decide if they like him or not.
Sadly, the movies that are out about him and the documentaries paint him in a not so good light and I fear the young people will discard him as a bad person. I know it's true because the young people in my own extended family think Elvis was a bad person, I set them straight on Elvis, then they go out and see more negative things about him and they just dont like or appreciate him like he deserves.
Only way a True Elvis movie is made is if Billy and Jo make it.
There's only one positive thing about that movie : it reminded that the world admires Elvis, not his ex wife

What's the purpose of a movie focused on the woman who ruined the life of a legendary artist?

QUESTION: Has Billy and Jo ever read the book Child Bride by Suzanne Finstad. When I read it, it confirmed many things I suspected about Priscilla and told many things I'm sure she didn't want anyone to know, especially about the true status of her virginity and how she begged and instigated her move to Graceland.
Haven’t read the book but I can remember watching a documentary years ago in the U.K. Priscilla was recounting how she would constantly beg and plead with her parents to let her go to America. They said they eventually gave in, got a promise from Elvis that he would make sure she finished her education and would be safe and they trusted he would keep his word.

to me it all comes down to her parents,THEY saw fame and fortune for their daughter and pretty sure "they: groomed her to keep wanting to marry him, I mean it was Elvis,,she also didn't do the right thing by cheating on her husband,she could have just filed for divorce and people woild have maybe looked at her differently,I don't know but when you make a movie this late in the game and try and make Elvis look bad,,guess what,, she loses,,I still don't think she should be buried at Graceland,,she was Elvis's EXWIFE

In photos, Elvis always looks happy when he's with Anita. Anita, seemed like such a nice LADY, very talented, full of life, and a little spitfire. She, might have been the one, that got away, so to speak.

I think that scientology she joined messed with her head and rubbing elbows with the wealthy people got her thinking she is better than regular people. It's funny because when she met Elvis she was just an army brat. Her loss is our gain ,I think you are down to earth great folks!❤
I recall the book Careless Love: The Unmaking of Elvis by Peter Guralnick. Elvis was searching for spiritual answers. He heard of a new approach to Christianity. Their office was in Beverly Hills. One of his staff drove him to their office. Elvis went inside, and the assistant waited in the car near the main entrance, 10 minutes later he heard an angry voice and recognized it as Elvis say "You sons a bitches, you God Damn sons a bitches all you want me for is my fuck'in money. Elvis stormed out of the building still swearing. He climbed back in the front passenger seat and slammed the door seething and swearing the entire 15-minute drive back to his Bel Aire home. The office he visited was the Church of Scientology. I am deducing that Elvis never discussed this meeting with Priscilla. I doubt Priscilla would have joined if she knew of Elvis' experience. Scientology must have been ecstatic when Priscilla joined, now they could get some revenge.

I think Priscilla knew about the experience Elvis had with that cult and it became one reason a Priscilla got involved with them. The other being, becuase of many of the "Hollywood people" being members of that cult and Priscilla wanted to be known to them....money talks and she's done a lot of talking.

After seeing reviews and hearing your opinions of this movie I I still have no desire to see it. I don't read her books or a LOT of people books on Elvis that were former girlfriends or other wise. I listen to you two and 2 other family members books and that is it. Yes Elvis did some bad things in his life but we have to forgive them as we all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. And I liked the video and hit the like button!

I was watching 'factinate' on YT . It is stories of the famous that are no longer with us. All about their life. I watched a few and was about to subscribe when i watched the one about Elvis. I was disgusted they said some awful things , i couldnt watch the end. Some of the comments were horrible and a lot of what they said was based from Pricilla's movie. Which i didnt watch. God bless Elvis.

I agree with yall exactly. That's what I thought when I saw the movie. I did not like the way Elvis was portrayed at all. I love what Billy said about them doing things for Elvis because they loved him. I believe yall are sincere in that. That's what family I suppose to do anyway is help each other.

I haven't watched the movie because everyone says it is bad and put Elvis down like he was a no good and I don't like it one bit she knew things that was going on before she moved in with him so she shouldn't have moved from Germany and she knew she what was going on with other females before she ever came to Graceland so!!!

She didn't know already what her life was going to be, with an entertainer as his career...hate to label but that sounds pretty stupid to me. Elvis was blackmailed into marrying her, bottom line...he took her across State lines to Vegas when she was under 18. Old timer Elvis fans, from his beginnings, know the truth and facts about who priscilla really is, from the [inside.] Not pretty at all. She is an opportunist and a user of people. I agree about the movie. I found it pretty boring and thought it abruptly ended. I wish someone could actually ask Priscilla about Billy and Jo and why she never mentions them or has any relationship with them.

I don't believe Elvis would have allowed Lisa anywhere near Scientology had he lived, which would have likely saved her from so much suffering. If she had grown up in the Christian faith of her paternal side of the family (and that of Priscilla's parents as well), perhaps more peace would have been all around her. Blessings...

Welcome back, we missed you. I have no desire to see that movie. In a phone call in 1976 between Elvis and Red West, Elvis said the he was "Railroaded into marriage" and after doing research about Priscilla , in my opinion she always has been narcissistic. She kept suing Elvis for more money after he gave her everything she wanted. That alone had to be a burden on Elvis. I could say more but I will leave it there.. Elvis fans will Always love & miss him 💕
