I love u all!,, This is Ruth Jesse from Bloomington,IL and I watch every video of EFM and Also MMK. I can’t wait to see the next new videos. Loved the pic’s Jo and and the bell bottoms, hot pants with boots, all the different hair styles and makeup, go go boots. Also liked seeing the pic of Elvis with the lady that crossed the fence. Kind of Elvis to take the time to do that, but he was young back then.

If it is of any comfort regarding the lack of respect to Elvis in no family attending to receive the Medal of Freedom in the White House - please know I stood up in my living room and applauded, with tears running down my face during that ceremony for Elvis. I'm sure many fans all over the world did that. In heaven, I hope Elvis saw our standing ovation in his honor for that award. WE were there for him that day in the only way we could be. It would have been as meaningful to him, if not moreso, that the Jaycees Award he was presented with many years ago. Love our time together with you on these videos. Love from Washington state!❤

I was with you crying and screaming "where is Lisa?" I think it was because it was President Trump and he was not liked by a lot of the movie stars. So sad but I think politics were a big reason no one showed up. I did get to see it at the trophy building and I cried again. This was about the same as the "Helping Hands" award that Elvis was so proud of. Glad to hear others were in accord. Bless you

I hope that from the top of his celestial throne, Beloved ELVIS on the 16th _ Number 2018 will not have suffered too much to see that no one from his family (except the Smith family who were not invited) was there for the presentation of the Medal!!! All this, because it was D Trump! /// HE who worked to die to provide for all their needs / SHAME / TLC /

Jo you were very pretty when you met Billy, and you are just as pretty today! You did look like a scrapper back then. I love hearing your stories of Elvis. Thank you. 🙂

You’re describing my life in the 60’s and 70’s. My husband and I had an argument over whether we would go see Elvis open in Las Vegas in August 1970 or go to Woodlstock. We went to Woodstock but we met Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. But our best experience in life was meeting Elvis and talking with him a few times. I’ll never forget it.
When he passed I thought I would die, we went to Graceland and stayed in Memphis for 3 days.

The hair was all about Acquanette and rat. They used to rat the heck out of your hair back then and then come smooth on the top layers. That’s what I remember my aunt‘s doing that’s the way they did their hair then they were that blue eyeshadow and black eyeliner all over. It was a mess back then how they did stuff but that’s the way they did it.❤

If fans/viewers want to read genuine stories about Elvis, they should purchase the set of books by Donna Lewis, entitled “Hurry Home, Elvis.” The set is transcripts of her diaries, which she wrote as a teenager spending time at Graceland. Also Shirley Connell wrote about living in a house that shared the back fence with Graceland property in “The Man in My Backyard.”
The Presidential Medal of Freedom package of awards is displayed a protected glass case in the “Elvis the Entertainer” of Elvis Presley’s Memphis. There is also lapel pin & tie clasp included in presentation box. The display case is in the center of the room. It is surrounded by his gold records & various other awards & trophies.

QUESTION.... Can Billie or Jo comment on Lucy De Barbin and the book she wrote "Are You Lonesome Tonight" she says she met Elvis in 53' he use to cut her sister Marys grass in Memphis and also seen him in Louisiana and that she continued a love affair/friendship with Elvis on and off up until the time of his death and had a daughter by Elvis (which he never knew about)that was born in 58' named Desiree which is also the name Elvis gave Lucy he would call her Desiree. Supposedly Veron, Uncle Vester and John OGrady new about her as she would often call Graceland. Her memories and recollections of Elvis seem like it is possible that she was secretly in his life what are your thoughts about her story....thanks for sharing❤❤❤❤
