Di what should i choose between mysore and sri atal . Going by rankings mmc is the obvious choice but i love Bengaluru as a city , my parents and friends live here too .
I can understand the confusion as MMC is a very established and old college but ours is a new one! If you want to stay in Bangalore itself go for SABVMCRI as it's good no doubt and Bowring hospital was attached with BMCRI so most of the professors here are from BMCRI!

Both are good in different ways like MMC is a very established and reputed college while sabvmcri is a relatively new yet nice college with many professors from BMCRI

Language is not a barrier at all. Many knows Hindi in the area clg situated. Also u can easily learn kannada by second year..

College cutoff is based on rank >> marks and that's a great score but this time the results like ranks are crazyy so all the best 👍

i have 675 with AIQ 10.1k and state rank415 and i have state quota for Karnataka so i believe i can get into the college but can i ask about how is the food there cause that's the main concern for me as i need north indian food for survival😅
Food is almost like any other mess food, but being a north indian won't be a problem I guess as the mess provides both chapathi and rice almost everyday

Congrats on your score! You may get a seat considering the reservation and comparing with private colleges that you've mentioned, Sabvmcri is better I think, considering the patient exposure

No attached washrooms in girls hostel though boys hostel has it, 2 people share a room!

Both are well esteemed govt colleges only difference is Sabvmcri is a new college and MMC is a well established college

Yes as per the orders right now they're saying it is compulsory but it also depends on the vacancy available and the requirement of the doctors and many other stuff

OPD is around 1000 I guess approx apart from the OBG patients in ghosha which is attached to the college as well and number of beds around 600-700 as far as I know

Through AIQ the cutoffs I'm not sure of, but there's no language barrier you can opt for this college!

ESI college has a bond of 1 year after the 1 year of internship as far as I know so do confirm these details with the college before making your decision

MMC is a very established and reputed college whereas Sabvmcri is a new yet reputed college, it's a tough choice no doubt, are you planning to stay in hostel? Where is your native?
Brother, in mmc hostel is 5.5km away so I choosed this over mmc.
I was alloted to mmc in mock allotment.

Nope many of them in our batch don't know kannada and that'll not be an issue

Sister, what are the events/fest happening in the college?
There's a fest called Aurelion and from this year there's also another event called 'Ujwala' for celebrating the language kannada, not to mention 'Yudhwan' the sports meet
There are other minor celebrations and events going on throughout the year!

How many does one should have to get free govt seat ?
Depends on the cutoff each year according to the exam's difficulty level and it's also different in state quota and all india quota, do check the last year's cutoffs you'll get an idea
hostel fee and mess fee for boys
Hostel fees is ₹20k initially out of which ₹10k is refundable and ₹10k is the fees per year and then ₹4k is the mess fees per month

Regarding the rank cutoff for aiq I'm not sure do check the previous year cutoff ranks! Yes this is a good option for North Indian student and we have many students who've joined the college through aiq as well!!

Actually there's a bond for 1 year rural service but I'm not sure if we'll be having it or not!

Yes we do have the rural bond! And since we're the first batch, there are no interns currently of SABVMCRI to confirm the stipend amount, but probably it'll be the same as other government colleges which is around ₹25-30k I guess. I'll update if there are any changes!

There's no college bond as such, but there was one bond from state regarding rural service which we had made but now as per the news that's not compulsory too!

I don't have much info about Nursing college but as far as I know it's pretty old and well established compared to Medical College, I've heard some good reviews as well but do enquire with someone from the Nursing field!!
