I'm definitely excited with what we have seen so far. I can't wait to see more of the island that they were hiding. I'm wondering if they are going to make us wait til they release to see the rest or if they plan to release maybe like a teaser trailer or dev log with screen shots or something.

Does anyone know how much the new map will cost? (Canada)
They said under $30 when there were quite a few people in the room, with a bit of deducing I think it should cost around $20US - $30AUS

kinda crazy they're charging for it considering the game is riddled with cheaters and it's soley up to the community to deal with them now

As you become a better player your opinion will shift.
PVE is a huge part of dayz's PVP dynamics. When you're skilled, and have been playing dayz for a LONG TIME; the zombies, wolves, and bares are nothing to take care of, and the other players themselves.
For experienced players, you want the environment to be much more dangerous. If it was easy, and we weren't challenged by the environment: you may as well go play a BR game, or COD.
I'm a fay one Vet with dayZ. Trust me. We want more PVE challenges. Otherwise it's just ARMA.
DayZ is the amalgamation of all of it's challenges, to take anything away, is to take away the game.
That's why I only play official.
I play fair and square.
Most of my high priority targets are the cheaters, or dupers.
I flip flop through official servers, I give freshies cooked food, and punish cheaters on that official server until they quit.
DayZ needs to add some new game systems to the game. The game gets pretty stale after playing the same thing over and over. Would be cool to see random NPCs pop up that give you quests. Or have random enemy NPC players that roam the area. I dunno , just give it something else to do other than pvp.
Play on pc . They have all of this . The base game will never have that .
