I just finished watcheing season 2, had to listen to this song again, so sad to read this comment and confirm it's been cancelled.

same here, this song makes me really emotional... especially the line you mentioned and the following lines of the chorus: "so i crawled out of the back door / took of all these tight clothes / jumped into the water" this really is a good metaphor for some of my feelings that i have trouble talking about to people, my family, for instance... also the bridge really hits me in the feels..

I heard this song at work 2 weeks ago and was hooked to it but couldn't pull my phone out to find the song. I heard it again today and i spent 40 mins searching "don't don't lie to me jump into the water" not knowing it was punish and it took me forever and i gave up on google and cams to youtube and finally fucking found it. YESSSSS i'm so happy. So worth it.

Sorry to be the Debbie-downer here... this is the anthem of the current generation. Our feelings often have very little to do with reality. Following your feelings will very likely lead you off the cliff and into the abyss. Feelings are quicksand. The better way is to stand on a rock regardless of what you feel. And I agree with M.S. who commented that the lyric is more likely, "what I *don't* feel." Ok, I'll let you return to the land of warm and fuzzy now... ;)

This is why I'm in therapy now. So I can be taught how to trust my feelings regardless what what's going on around me, or what people are saying. I'd rather do that and be happy, than be standing on the metaphorical rock stuffing all my feelings down my throat. I'm tired of that.

clearly you need both feelings and evidence. If I didn't feel I wouldn't want to feel good and if I had no evidence that I was feeling good then I would never know if I was feeling good (something like that).
The abyss is inevitable. This is about not being a suit and having the courage to be an authentic person who lives for more than their job, doesn't conform to the mold and will of the suits, and doesn't get caught up in the 24-hour news cycle.
These musicians have so much potential. I know absolutely nothing about the industry when it comes to promotions. I do know that another up and coming group has been stalled/halted as a result of the same corrupt contract
