@mark I Have a Burton Hometown hero Mystery 160cm that I’ve not ridden yet. Own’ed a standard HTH 156cm in the past- which ai really liked.
      I’m 170-175 lbs/6ft/size 10 boot.
I think often should I have got the Megadeath 159cm instead, as my freeride/powder/ piste cruiser : )
If I may ask what sizes dod you get in Mystery HTH and MD? What are your specs. I will be very interested to hear your thoughts on both board on and off piste- if you dont mind sharing once you get them on snow.

@@stivabeltman2900 I have the 156 Mystery HTH & the 156 MD. I wear a size 8 UK (9 US) boot and weight 185lbs (happier at 175lbs). I wish I had bought the 157 wide MD as the extra width and slight increase in size would have probably been a better size for me.
With your foot size and weight I would probably go for the 157 wide as well over the 159. I don’t think the length would be a noticable difference but the extra width in powder and carving might be a better fit.
I am heading to Morzine/Avoriaz in December..looking forward to getting on all the new boards! The Mystery Hometown Hero with the new EST bindings are an amazing combination weight wise. Can’t wait to try it out. I just wish the Burton channel system was across the board with snowboard companies as the EST bindings just feel so much better to me.

Hi Shane . You are doing a good job - I appreciate your input ! After watching your video I found that it is time to change my board to Capite mega death . I am confused with the size . Height 180 cm , weight 70-71 kg ( 157lbs) plan to gain 3 kg to 162 lbs . Shoes are ride lasso pro 43,5 (28 cm- 10 US) bindings Flux XF - M . Take 156 or 157wide or 159? At my weight I am in the middle of 156 and don't know which one to buy I'm looking for something to go faster and I saw that it flexes quite a bit . But I am in the middle of the scale. Previously I had an effective edge of 117.5 so the extra edge should give more stability, but I don't want to overdo it. Thank you and appreciate your input !

Mega carbon? They finally released the mega carbon rods weave...no wonder I struggled n the mega dew parks at Aspen. I am still using 2 year old xtreme carbon. Huge upgrade over the old ultra carbon and the Xfactor carbon from last year.
Back then the park line was xtreme not yet mega. You only needed xtreme carbon built into the ultramag "hyper camber" to get that pop. 100x better than the burton mystery Xs tho.
Only wish it had the same thermo poly MAX. Not paying twice the price for the 2025 burton skibidy x or the rizzlers
Sometimes I wonder if it's the board that makes the man? Or is it the man that makes the board? Would shaving .1g in weight off my board help? Surely there is some independent review sites out there that give a true objective opinion on the boards. Some well respected snowboard company. Like Forbes, or Newsweek reviews of the new decks.
Is some company or big fat corporation selling me something I don't need possibly?
Every single review thing on the internet is a huge referral link circle jerk. TBF, it probably always was though.
So is the new Mega Death the greatest snowboard?

@@jobkuperus You could ride either, but maybe go 159 if you want to be cruising with it once in a while rather than charging every second. We've got them available here: www.radioboardshop.com/capita-mega-death-25.html

If it’s so good. Why don’t the pros ride it?

Why do you think they don't? The crew at Baldface rode the BSOD, I'm sure they upgraded to the Mega.

They do, Brandon Cocard's been liking it a lot. I think there's not much footage of them riding it because footage you see will most likely be on more freestyle focused boards like the Mercury, Mega Mercury, DOA etc.
