    Kazu or Mega Death, do you have an opinion on the main difference on the use. I looking for a All-montain / Resort board. I also have the Burton Custom X in mind... to many boards :P

    • @SearchofSnowboarding
      @SearchofSnowboarding  15 часов назад +1

      I think the Mega Death over both of those. Mega Death has more fun of a shape imo that makes turning and carving better than the Kazu, although I have yet to ride that board And the Custom X is not that fun of a ride for most people.

    I sadly I lost interest when you got to the sizes offered. 😔 But then you made the recommendation that they offer it in a full size lineup. 🎉😂Maybe 2026. I am for sure not getting taller. I have a "Super Pig" in my size for this year

    Arrived today. With my Mystery Hometown Hero and Jones Freecarver 600s..I think I am done spending money on boards for a few years! Love the fact (and consistency) that the MD & Mystery HTH are almost identical weight wise!

    I just noticed you have 3 orginal Ultimate Ride in the back ground.
    Got the 17 from a thrift shop when traveling in Japan back in 2022. Instantly fell in love with it. It's so light, verstile and has almost the same spec as og HK pro with the same construction, camber/side cut profile but longer nose. I ended up buying all 4 years from used market. So sad they stop making it anymore.

    • @markmaurath8161
      @markmaurath8161 11 дней назад

      Depending on how much you've progressed, I'd imagine it's possible you could. That said, it's likely that for your second season, it's more board at a higher price point than you need. There's many boards out there that are at a lower price and probably more appropriate for your day to day needs. I'm partial to the Jones Frontier, but there are plenty others to check out!

    • @SearchofSnowboarding
      @SearchofSnowboarding  10 дней назад +1

      I think you would have a better time on a different board for your first season. The Frontier is a good one to check out like @markmaurath8161 said

    • @deadheartcasper
      @deadheartcasper 11 дней назад +1

      I have both. Toss up honestly based on whether you want a more twin shape, mega merc, or slightly directional bigger nose, mega death. MM slightly damper in chop vs MD better powder. Would never take the mega death out in early season or slush though fwiw.

    • @SearchofSnowboarding
      @SearchofSnowboarding  11 дней назад +3

      Tough question because I ride both haha. I find myself grabbing the Mega Merc if I want a stiffer ride or am in more of a freestyle mood. The Mega Death kills it for everything except park

      They do, Brandon Cocard's been liking it a lot. I think there's not much footage of them riding it because footage you see will most likely be on more freestyle focused boards like the Mercury, Mega Mercury, DOA etc.
