    Hi guys! i´m planning to move to Denmark and i need some info. Cars are my hobby, i love to repair them and race them (track days or real racing), so.. i love to modify them, my question is.. Are modifications allowed in Denmark?.. for example, change the suspension, wheels, tune the engine, etc..
    Cheers from Argentina!

      Only very limited, and it is hard to get approval. You can lower the car and "pimp" it up, but power increase is difficult to do legally 😞

    Free highways? Last time i checked you had to pay a relatively high fee to go across the Storebælt bridge which is a part of the highway.

    Another important question is windows tinting and is there any exceptions to have darker tint if you import own car from outside of Denmark ?

    • @DanTraxex
      @DanTraxex 3 года назад +1

      Front window and front side windows are almost not allowed to be tinted. There needs to be 70% light coming through which makes it irrelevant to tint.

    How does it go with motorcycles and mopeds? Same or?

    • @StudentSurvivalGuide
      @StudentSurvivalGuide  4 года назад +1

      I think the moped is cheaper, as the road tax is cheaper. The insurance will likely be the same but I think you can go on fdm.dk or if.dk and get a free quote on the insurance price.

    i have a question! If i come in Denmark with a car registered in an EU country what are the rules? Do i have a limit of time? and How much is a liter of petrol/diesel?

    • @StudentSurvivalGuide
      @StudentSurvivalGuide  4 года назад +1

      I think it is around a month that you can be here with that car or until you get your residence permit. The liter of diesel is around 7,5kr. so around1€

    Could you please give a rough estimate of the full coverage insurance for a VW polo. Any website where I can get this estimate?
    Or could you give a number for me to make a decision, Thanks!
