Thank you not just for this video but all the other ones too! My son is hoping to study in Denmark from 2022 so your channel is our bible! Please keep your content coming🙏
How much money should I bring for the initial months? How many months do I have to run on that money? I will get a 3000 DKK scholarship per month from University, and the tuition fee is also paid by the scholarship. I am writing from Bangladesh (South Asia). I wonder how can I bring the money; does cash work for the initial months? I am very worried about these processes in the initial months. Extremely anxious. Being someone from outside of EU/EEA is a curse.
As a non-Eu student, if I work in Denmark, am I not eligible for the 40,000 basic income deduction ? So until I make 3300kr a month I don't need to pay taxes right ?
I have applied to VIA university College, and just received a mail that i have met all entry requirements. How hard is it going to be getting the final decision ?
Thanks for the support Fran! You can get it online on SKAT, there is a link in the description. It's an online application that you fill out and you only need your ID and some address in Denmark, where you're staying. :) More of that, on our blog studentsurvivalguide.dk/
Hi, I think this video is misleading for various reasons: - You forgot to say that in order to apply for a Danish tax card, one of the documents you will need for applying is a signed employment contract. I have been here in Denmark for one month already and NO ONE will employ you without having your CPR number. - Basically, there is no legal way of working in Denmark before getting your CPR number, so if you want to start working before you start studying, come to denmark 2 months before your studies start. (this is the amount of time that will take you to get a CPR number)
Not true and only your experience Alfredo (sorry to hear though) Please do not generalise your experience for others, there is plenty of places that employ solely on the EU work permit. Best of luck finding work
Thanks for the good content! How is it with business related working student jobs tho? Does anyone know whether you can work for let's say consulting firms or so if you're only able to speak English ?
I'll be applying for student housing. Any idea if it's possible to move into stundent housing earlier in the summer (say may or june for inst.) to start working prior to the university starting in September?

That depends on wether they have empty spots 😯
Great content. What are the legal working hours for a non-EU national?
Hey, I'm not sure but I think around 120 or 160 hours per month.
It’s 20hrs max per week and full-time from June-August
You can not get temporal work like a vikar without a CPR number.
Chiara Grasso hey, thanks for the comment. Luckily you can, if you have a work permit :) we’ve called to the citizenship service to ask about this.
What's CPR number ?
Does that also apply to Non-Eu students who have work permits??🤔🤔
@Ngozi A cpr number is a national identification number that the danish civil registration system uses to store your personal information😊😊
Hey!! Its my request to please inform nd make a video on undergrad courses available in english
