    How much money should I bring for the initial months? How many months do I have to run on that money? I will get a 3000 DKK scholarship per month from University, and the tuition fee is also paid by the scholarship.
    I am writing from Bangladesh (South Asia). I wonder how can I bring the money; does cash work for the initial months?
    I am very worried about these processes in the initial months. Extremely anxious. Being someone from outside of EU/EEA is a curse.

    As a non-Eu student, if I work in Denmark, am I not eligible for the 40,000 basic income deduction ? So until I make 3300kr a month I don't need to pay taxes right ?

      Thanks for the support Fran! You can get it online on SKAT, there is a link in the description. It's an online application that you fill out and you only need your ID and some address in Denmark, where you're staying. :) More of that, on our blog studentsurvivalguide.dk/

    Hi, I think this video is misleading for various reasons:
    - You forgot to say that in order to apply for a Danish tax card, one of the documents you will need for applying is a signed employment contract. I have been here in Denmark for one month already and NO ONE will employ you without having your CPR number.
    - Basically, there is no legal way of working in Denmark before getting your CPR number, so if you want to start working before you start studying, come to denmark 2 months before your studies start. (this is the amount of time that will take you to get a CPR number)

    • @StudentSurvivalGuide
      @StudentSurvivalGuide  3 года назад

      Not true and only your experience Alfredo (sorry to hear though) Please do not generalise your experience for others, there is plenty of places that employ solely on the EU work permit.
      Best of luck finding work
