    Nice to see you again. It's a shame that FSD v12 is so far away for the UK. It's still outside of my financial limits, but I will have a Tesla one day.

    Indicators on the steering wheel. So what happens when you need to use the indicator in the middle of a turn, say for example on a roundabout when you need to change from a right indicator to a left indicator to leave?
    No only is the button not going to be in the natural hand position, you have to chase the button around the steering wheel, move your hand away from the correct position, plus the confusion when the buttons are upside down. Great 'innovation', can't believe that somebody thought that nonsense was a good idea, or that it's legal.

    I just got a M3 rwd plus 4 days ago. Absolute brilliance. Took a couple drives to get used to the new indicators. I came from a Rav 4. Just love it. It rocks.😊

      It is definitely different, but I got used to it pretty quickly and don't even drive a lot. The most tricky is taking the 2nd exit on small roundabouts, where you don't have a lot of time to locate the button.

    Tesla Vision looks so disappointing, it's very inaccurate. In the service station carpark, it can't even pick up fixed objects properly, shows them moving or in stupid shapes.
    Yet another cost cutting measure.

    With the maximum legal speed in the UK being 70mph when are they going make that the maximum speed the car can do, won't be to long I expect now the technology is already here to do so, they'll probably make the maximum speed relevant to the stretch of road you're travelling on at the time, 70 on a 70 mph stretch, 20 on a 20mph stretch ect, no more speeding fines & a lot fewer accidents saving many lives.

    Thank you for a RHD looksee.
    It just confirms me in that I don’t want to buy another Tesla. I find using the touchscreen with my left hand in my S is a pain and driving legally with those blinker buttons seems ludicrous. Possibly better in the states where mini roundabouts are uncommon but not here in Australia.
    This obsession with eliminating standard car controls is insane: solving non existent problems.

    Firstly, I must say I'm a bit of a fan so please keep creating this content. I do find your uploads strangely fascinating because I'm certainly not bought in to either the EV concept or the Tesla brand. I just wanted to ask about the comment "it is free to charge it while we get some food". Why is it free? Who is paying for that? Does the electricity come complimentary just to Tesla owners, or to all EVs? Is it paid for by Welcome Break, Burger King or Starbucks? I can't see that working for any of them as a business model, so what's the deal? Nobody has ever offered me a splash of petrol, let alone a fill-up, at a motorway services so I'm curious. I wondered if free electric charging is a government funded thing, part of its unfathomable drive to get us all into EVs. Is free fuel for EVs coming out of taxes or other charges imposed on ICE-powered motorists?

    • @Uchejnr
      @Uchejnr 7 месяцев назад +2

      All Tesla demo vehicles or loan cars have free unlimited supercharging. So whatever "cost" the charge would add up to, Tesla will just pay the provider, but for the user, they won't pay anything. There are actually a few private Tesla owners (old model s and x owners) who have free unlimited supercharging on their vehicles. This used to be an incentive to attract your early buyers. Nowadays Tesla offer free limited supercharging miles for a few months to bring in new buyers or allow those older buyers to trade in and convert to a new model whilst being able to transfer over their unlimited free supercharging capability. The capability usually stays with the car and not the owner but as mentioned this is sometimes bypassed for promotional purposes.

    Losing the indiator stalk must be one of the dumbest things Tesla has done. If it was a good idea, other manufacturers would have done it years ago. At least Ferrari put the indicator buttons on the opposite sides of the steering wheel.

    • @jwstolk
      @jwstolk 7 месяцев назад

      Tesla actually did it years ago, the model S and X yoke steering wheel has the indicator buttons.

    • @Wol747
      @Wol747 7 месяцев назад +1

      I hadn’t realised the blinker buttons were both on the same side - I’d assumed they were on opposite sides, which is crazy. But having both together when the wheel can be in any orientation is insane and I’m amazed it’s allowed. I’d love to watch a UK driving test using a magic roundabout!

    A step closer to Teslas becoming a pay-per-use subscritption service, as functionality is still owned and controlled by Tesla. Tesla buyers are beta testers at their own expense.
