I have followed your entire journey. I am proud to say that I brought in the New Year as a newbie with microlocs. I'm obsessed with my curly microlocs!!
Hey sweetie! Your locs are gorgeous and flourishing. I love the thickness you have in yours. Mine are a lil more fine in texture but I'm finally getting some hang time! Lol
I have also followed your entire journey! I an now a year in and your videos was one that helped me make the decision. Love your content and your locs!
I have been binging on your videos, and tomorrow I start my diy micro locs. I’m extremely excited! I have been researching and trying to learn as much as I can regarding aftercare. One thing I’m still unsure about is when to moisturize afterwards. I plan on doing my first wash at about 5-6 weeks, but is it ok to spray them with water and oil seal every other day immediately after they’re done? Thank you so much, your content has been so helpful.
thank you so much, i’m glad my content has been helpful for you! i moisturized immediately after interlocking and then about once a week after or as needed. you may not have to oil seal every other day but wetting them every few days is okay. wishing you a beautiful journey 💞
I'm glad I came across your page!! New sub! I'm very very interested in starting a journey with microlocs, and seeing you do them yourself is amazing!! How do you keep lint from your roots?? What products do you use?? I hope you don't mind the questions. How do you prevent build up? What are rotations?
hi! still thinking about starting your microlocs journey? for preventing lint i suggest sleeping with a satin bonnet and also having a satin pillowcase. for products, i try to keep it to a minimum. my go to is suave daily clarifying cleansing shampoo (clarifying shampoos are for tackling buildup) & grapeseed oil to seal in moisture. in interlocking, rotations refer to the method used to weave new growth back into the loc at the base. i’m not bothered by your questions at all, that’s what my platform is for 💞
hiiii, thank you! yes i’m using the mirror and the height is adjustable so if i need to move it up or down i can do so. i look through that to the vanity
no, it doesn’t hurt my eyes. yes, toward the end of the video i am doing it without looking. it’s pretty easy as long as i’m using my fingers to feel what i’m doing

thank you 💕
Hi, is your hair 4c? (Trying to find other 4cers so I can get an idea of how my hair will be 😊)
I think it is
Hello Queen love your crown, for the back are you just using your 3way mirror hun? It be hard for me to see the back top
hiiii, thank you! yes i’m using the mirror and the height is adjustable so if i need to move it up or down i can do so. i look through that to the vanity
Beautiful 😍
@@nappyroots2524 thank you beautiful!
Hi are your boxes stacked or is it the brick laying method?
@@talayehbryant6124 i did brick laying
@ thank you for responding!! Last question did u start with a Braid then twist the rest of the way?
Beautiful locs!❤ do you twist your locs after you retire them?
thank you!! i just twist some of the loose hairs around the loc. i don’t do it all the time though just when i’m feeling extra
I did my retie today, and I noticed I have split on both sides , it didn’t went all tru though
How do I detect where I last tie to avoid having holes
i would suggest trying to end all of your rotations the same direction. for me it’s down
How long does this usually take?
im getting faster every time, about 6 hours altogether now
@@queentyquana thank you!
After what time do you uninstall them, or are they definitely left there?
they are more on the permanent side
How often do you retie?
i try to go 6-8 weeks in between usually. this time it had been almost 4 months between
Does it hurt your eyes to do the back? Like are you straining to do it? Also do you think it would be possible to do it without looking?
no, it doesn’t hurt my eyes. yes, toward the end of the video i am doing it without looking. it’s pretty easy as long as i’m using my fingers to feel what i’m doing
Wouldn’t these be considered small locs? I thought micro was smaller with a loc count of over 275
to me, microlocs are just small locs. i didn’t know there were specific numbers associated
So you using the 2 point rotation
yes
this video makes me want micro lots.🥹 your hair is beautifullll😍
thank youuu💞 give them a try
