Hello Everyone I came across this video by kushal. i like his content. there is teaching related guidance in this video. being a professor myself thought adding more insight to it. Apart from info in video i would like to add few things, teaching is very good for those having good communication and expression skills and if you can engage and entertain students. Just like any other business or profession it has top line (Sales) and bottom line (Net Profit). There are various costs such as 18% GST, 20-25% Sellers Commission, Operations Team, Content Management Team, Classroom rent etc, so realistically depending on volume what remains with professor can be 30% to 60% I have seen some young professors getting disappointed when they see bottom line. I will just say that it improves over period of time.
Sir even if you consider a avg ca in job after 4 years and avg ca in teaching after 4 years (here by avg i mean not as famous as you or ss) ... Then also the teacher will be earning atleast 1.5x the job goer? DO YOU AGREE TO THIS TO SOME EXTENT?
@@Aayush-129n Teaching is very good field for one who have passion and love to teach. Just dont jump looking into figures, it doesn't work that ways. There is high uncertainty of professor able to click and reach masses. Again no certainty of how long one would continue with its peak. I have seen many good CAs going out of the field or struggling to reach remuneration in job over period of 5 to 10 years. But you will overcome all of that if your passionate and you love to teach. Patience will be key to performance. So choose wisely.
