Yes IIMs are always worth it especially ABC but if these institutes don’t see your worth then it’s better to study in a top 100 institute in abroad. Many UK, USA, German, Australian schools can provide you similar quality education as these IIM’s and rank higher than these IIMs . I’m talking here for general students who’s value is worth much more than they think .
You will get tough competitions for management jobs in other countries. For management jobs mostly natives/locals are hired than foreigner talent. For techincal jobs there is no such issue.

According to me for anyone who is smart enough it can be anyones piece of cake i am commerce student tier 2 clg and i gave cat with 3 months prepration last year and got 95 percentile got calls from new iims but did not appear for the interview cause they just offer around 20 lpa ctc which is very low compared to ABC UPR se mera competition iits se isse bdiya i went for DEAKIN UNIVERISTY got good scholarship so my fees turned to nearly fees of IIMS and i will earn more than iims for sure

RoI is not simply your 1-3 yrs of salary compared to fees... for most people success requires approx 10 yrs of incubation period...u will be late compared to your peers but still u will be much ahead by the time u reach 35 or 40 yrs of age...it doesn't matter much if u r at bottom 20-30% of comparable peer groups since still u will be in top 1% to top 0.5% of overall public and wealthy & resourceful in exact terms....

IIMs and iits don’t come under world top 100 list of best universities or institutions. It’s a waste of money and energy, first to get into those is hard plus you will be getting paid less. And have to spend almost 30 lacs rather someone should go abroad like US coz anyway you will be paying 30 lacs plus education system of India sucks so going for good reputable institutions may help you with scholarships as well so degree possible scholarships and possibilities of getting green card and atleast working with good firms is a plus point.

Agree - networking will be different but I don’t think I will go to MBA for these reasons. It’s a personal choice and will be different for everyone.

same happens to me and i am also thinking to give CAT 24 my college doesnt host any such extra activities so i am currently focusing on improving my communication skills and preparation of CAT but i still have a doubt that if i can clear it or not as i am an average student with audience fear 🥲
