My absolute fav Anjunadeep set of 2023. So happy that most of these then-unreleased tracks have had a official release by now. Especially that Goldeneye game soundtrack remix. Absolute fire!

I tuned right in and caught the surprise remix with samples of a GoldenEye 007 theme, and now I wanna play the Nintendo 64 game again hah, but wait did I also miss a remix of Super Mario 64 theme and Brinstar from Metroid? 🤩 Guess I'm the only one who recognize these classic melodies

@@TimAldiss hmmm I’d say influential tracks and moments. EG A&B essential mix 2014, Mat Zo’s the sky and his awesome essential mix. Mum and I would listen to it on the way to school.
@@TimAldiss for breaks, no idea 🤷♂️ I just try and get myself in a trance while writing. during covid I starting making better productions at the cost of enjoying other music.
I didn’t really pay attention to what was happening in dance music for a couple of years until just recently. I think that allowed me to focus on two things
1: melody and emotion. (Through frequency)
2: trance states and rhythm.
It’s nice to approach music writing with a more scientific approach EG “how do I get em in a trance” & “how am I going to induce the emotional feeling behind it”
