To be honest this will probably be better than the uncharted movie. One of the things that drove me crazy is that Mark walhberg is not a rough around the edges kind of guy to play sully he's to much of a pretty boy. At least they got the age of sully right in this one
The budget for this movie must have been tight. The car chase scene where the hero character is shooting from inside the vehicle, to at around the 0:12 mark in the trailer where you see two people firing HK G36C’s - I’m guessing they couldn’t afford blowback airsoft guns to simulate actual guns. You’ll notice in neither scenes, there’s no recoil from the pistol (the slide doesn’t even recoil), and no empty brass is being ejected from the chambers of both G36’s. Is this picky? I’ll be the first to admit - absolutely. But at least put some sort of effort into making it look real, especially if this is supposed to be an action movie with gunfights. On the other hand, this looks like a straight to DVD movie, so I suppose I should temper my expectations a bit and lower the bar significantly.
