The “secret menu” is customer created - that’s why no one knows what it is. They’re willing to make something if you give them the ingredients or instructions. The workers can’t offer things off a menu that doesn’t exist unless you ask for it specifically
Incorrect it definitely does exist for atleast some restaurants for example in n out they have a huge secret menu and alot of the employees know of it it just depends on the location {I use to work there}

I work at Chick-fil-A, and I can explain! Having a drink “frosted” means that it is mixed in with icecream! So, frosted lemonade=lemonade + icecream!

Tip. I get secret menu drinks at starbucks all the time to get them you have to read them the recipe and most of the time there will be like 1 0r 2 ingredients they don't have like if there is a special kind of whipped cream or sum but other then that even tho they dont usually look the pics they will get the drink right based off of what they write down on the paper

speaking as an ex-wendys employee: we dont really hear about the "specials" because they train us to be QUICK. make them the MOST MONEY. so if you roll up with the order ready (i'e, every ingredient you need on that burger) they can do it for you, theres just a possibility of it getting messed up if you go through the drive through (always best to order specialty orders inside for accuracy!!)
