- In our last day in Santiago de Cuba, we wanted to explore the town a little more. You can't spend a few days just doing the "must-do" activities without walking through town.

Sounds like some incredible values can be found in Cuba. Amazing difference in number of vehicles vs. our time in Panama City this past month. It will probably be awhile before we make it to Cuba, so have enjoyed your videos for now. Thanks and safe travels. John and Bev

Thanks for showing the map. Since I am not as familiar that was very helpful. With winter coming, these videos warmed me up. Those City signs are the best for photos. I like how you do individuals videos and also a summary video. That’s so good you can walk most of the places. Did you try a Cuban cigar?

I'm curious to know what you think is a cost effective way to get across the island is? Viazul is one of the best bangs for your buck in a country that doesn't offer much else. There are cheaper options (other brands than Viazul) but had TERRIBLE reviews (at the time) as they often broke down, were overcrowded or inconsistent on departure time. This was by far the option that made the most sense for us when we wanted to pair reliability with price. Sure beats out hiring a driver, taxi or other common ways to get from city to city. That said, it's been 4 years since this video was filmed, so perhaps there are newer and better options for people - but really, $12 a person to take a multi-hour trip is pretty dang good.
