I agree wholeheartedly. The concept was genius. It’s an anthology show with recurring characters. You can put Sam into almost any type of story. Of course the writing, direction, and performances were excellent.
He is one of my favorite actors... that being said, I don't think he was underrated, just underexposed. He was one of the biggest TV stars of all time, but he never made it big in films. He was the star of three major series... Quantum Leap, Star Trek Enterprise, and NCIS New Orleans.
In my opinion, Scott Bakula is a most talented actor to play such versatile roles and make them so believable! I wish more seasons of Quantum Leap were on!
As someone who just found Quantum Leap in 2023, this is easily my favorite episode. Scott is so genuine and you can see him in Sam... especially when he sings. ❤
Scott really really needs to do a movie tv show play something as I am resorting to watching old Zest Canada Dry and Folgers commercials and him singing the National Anthem at a hockey and World Series game from 1993 on you tube (lol ) He is just awesome at everything he does in my eyes. I GUESS IM JUST MISSING HIM EACH WEEK ON SOME SHOW.
Thanks for all your comments. I had made this video ten years ago and it had been baned for long. I'm glad it's finally been accepted. We'll always love Quantum Leap. ❤️
He is wonder full for more years than I can count. Great actor singer band player etc. Looks will always be great .he has a smile that will melt any ladies heart. There is. Not enough time to tell all GREAT is the best word to use.
"Somewhere In The Night" Lyrics Scott Bakula On the day I walked away, All the blue rolled into gray. Now in the dark, alone I lay. Should have stopped, But I could never ever stay. Somewhere in the night, Inside my dreams you burn so bright. And I'm with you there and everything's alright. Somewhere in the night, Before the darkness turns to light. Let me love you there, somewhere in the night. Second chances, I wont get. Wouldn't dare to hope and yet. Everywhere I turn I see your silhouette Been so long but I never will forget. Somewhere in the night, Inside my dreams you burn so bright. And I'm with you there and everything's alright. Somewhere in the night, Before the darkness turns to light. Let me love you there, somewhere in the night. Time after time, I find that I'm thinking about you. Up on the hill I see you still but I just can't reach. Who would answer your prayers? Who would wait by the stairs? Not Me. Not Me. Somewhere in the night, Inside my dreams you burn so bright. And I'm with you there and everything's alright. Somewhere in the night, Before the darkness turns to light. Let me see your face. Feel your warm embrace. Let me love you, somewhere in the night.

We might have visited my grandmother exactly on November 10, 1985. My dad was sometimes a dick. When told her I wanted He-Man and Skeletor figurines, he teased, "So you want a He-Man doll?" right in front of my grandmother. Luckily on November 15, I got my He-Man, Ram Man, Skeletor, and Mer-Man.
