Do you protect that bridge from rain damage? How? It's one of those details that I haven't gotten the hang of yet. When I don't put up a full roof, I get rain damage on bits but not on everything - depending on where diagonal beams are. I don't even mind rain damage, but I do want to to be consistent!
No, the bridge isn't protected from rain damage. Since this world is just used for video making I set the environment to clear and don't worry about it. For my vanilla playthroughs I tend to either use roofing to make covered bridges, or I purposely damage (with a crude bow and wooden arrows) the pieces that don't naturally weather so that they all match the pieces that do.
