Protest in Nigeria | The same story

While there are justifiable reasons for Nigerians to voice their grievances through protest and calling the government to the issues of insecurity, high youth unemployment, vast devaluation of the Naira e.t.c., the bigger challenge/question remains 'how successful could such a protest be?'.
Although Nigerians have successful called the attention of the government to concerning national issues in the past (such as #subsidyremoval protest and #endsarsprotest during Presidents Jonathan and Buhari respectively), it's mostly a herculean task to get authorities' attention to societal issues. In Nigeria, specifically, abortive protests are largely due to issues of ethnic and religion sentiments, class illiteracy/ignorance in the society, extractive nature of the political elite, e.t.c.
