Very well explained..For us the people twenty years back were more in goblin mode than us and so future generation will see us in goblin mode in comparason to themselves ..what I get from this explanation is that even if we are physically lazy and do less work but mentaly stormed by the pressures of various personal or social problems then we are not in goblin mode..for me goblin mode means to face the chalenges without letting the pressure occupy your mind..:)

Thanks Elif for your thoughts on Goblin mode. During the height of the pandemic, I often sat on my deck reading, then on day, a scrub jay alit on the bannister not 2 ft. from me screeching. How odd I thought this behavior was but then I realized I failed to fill up the birdbath in the backyard. The jay was telling me hey fill up my birdbath it’s all dried up.
