ill tell you something from someone who plays mw2019 regularly. people with TTV or tiktok in their name or clan tag 90% of the time are cheating. its like they think its okay or something and they dont get banned for it because people are starting to accept dealing with them. they gain popularity by being the shittiest and scummiest players on the planet and you know what the kicker is? I have never once in all of my years of cod encountered a cheater that could even come close to my skill when they turned off the game playing for them. cheaters need cheats, its a fact they arent any good at all without them, hence why they get them. ive found that cheaters tend to openly show their cheats if they dont think they will get instant banned for it, especially if they gain popularity from it online, even if its from scum lords.
You can fix matching making even fix the cheating problems but we out here dealing with corruption at this point.

I officially gave up today on COD. Had enough of ranked play. Almost everyone in my lobby aiming through walls, zero recoil and super bullets that seem to hit even though they aren't perfectly aimed at me. I can shoot people 15 to 20 times from behind and they can still 180 spin and shoot me and kill me with a pistol. Skill based damage at its best. I used to love playing COD. No more. Not wasting my time anymore with a game that has been ruined.

That's my lobbies now.. Full of cheaters and very few of actual good people and it's majority of the time with the same people.. So many people will not be purchasing another Activision game unless it's cleaned up..

I have always wondered why the actual top players on the charts are never invited to these events. Why wouldn't you want the best players in the game to be the ones to give you feedback? None of these streamers are top players in the world.
Those are literally rage hackers. It's quite possible that, second my modest estimate, any pvp game has at least a 25% cheater ratio, and obviously they stomp fair players. So it's actually impossible to determine the best player without using COS's anti cheat

SBMM is only hated by those with higher skill level. Watch streamers when they get matched against each other and of same skill, they hate it.
That depends what game your playing. The last 5 seasons on Destiny I've had a decent KD 1.7 - 2.0 but that is a great players KD who plays Trials etc. If I match them for similar KD I get ran over. I don't mind it tho because to get better you need to play better players. The bad players will rarely improve if they are put against similar bad players all the time.

Higher k/d players get higher playing against lower skilled players who learn nothing getting roflstomped in trials etc. You only have to look at Destiny streamers when it was sbmm , they cried all weekend playing v equally skilled players, was hilarious. Its like putting Olympic sprinters in same race as amateurs. Doesnt happen.

just a friendly reminder that Bungie was under Activision at the time when the patents for MTX influenced matchmaking/hit detection/damage and skill based hit-detection were granted. And as someone who's played close to 9k hours of Destiny 2 on PC, near 6k of those are in PVP, I can very confidently claim that those measures are in place in destiny as well.
Also sayign that SBMM is not a thing in Destiny 2 at all is just blatantly false. Competitive has SBMM and it's even written in the game modes description. Trials has SBMM during flawed passages, which also is mentioned in the playlists description.

Hi, obviously when i say no SBMM i don't mean competitive, I'm specifically talking about unranked which is what literally everyone plays in the community.
When bungie kicked out Act, they put together a road map and alot changed.

My team and I hit that wall of hitreg, hitbox, and enemy dmg buffs after killing a streamer and his crew on DMZ. It immediately put us in cheater lobbies we never could escape from. So we dropped the game and will not be picking it up.

I agree. The OG MW2 was always a fun and great experience. You never knew from match to match if you were going to score 30+ kills or get destroyed. Just my personal opinion but SBMM has ruined the gaming experience for casual gamers such as myself.

The problem is that there is a cod developer that is selling the game exploits for a certain amount of money to cheat developers. Certain streamers purchase these cheats to promote the game and are white listed since they are promoting the game. It’s all about the money but it’s ruining the game.

Mark Ruebins take on sbmm and eomm is why I've played Xdefiant every single day since launch and haven't turned CoD back on a single time.
Xdefiant is an absolute trash game. Getting killed before you even see the enemy because the server is probably operated from Antarctica by a penguin...
Outdated graphics and terrible technical state is what Xdefiant is.
The Finals is running great, has much better servers and looks and sounds fantastic.
The only "problem" is team oriented gameplay which a lot of solo players are not able to accept so they keep getting killed and can't really solo carry.
They have NOT removed skill based matchmaking in Destiny 2. They removed it at some point, then brought it back for god knows why, and they keep tweaking it but it's not helping. It's very much in there. And it's NOT booming. It's on an all time low compared to back in the days where Destiny 2 was fun. Don't get me wrong. Your content is good, but this is just not right. This is coming from a Destiny player since day one on PS4. I'm currently playing on PC and I just went on a break because PVP is in absolute shambles right now. It's just not fun to play anymore. Over the years they nerfed all skilled players. Added a nerf to sliding. Added in air inaccuracy (Basically if your character is only a small bit in air now, you are NOT accurate, which leads to shotgun whiffs, all kinds of weird sniper whiffs. If you slide, you are inaccurate) meanwhile they made high zoom snipers with opening shot hit headshots while being off target for 5 meters. I kid you not. Destiny was my chill-game where i could go and just have some fun. But it's pretty much in shambles now where ability spam is thriving and players left the sinking ship.
Edit: That being said; Yeah SBMM needs to go on the casual playlists. For sure. It's not helping anyone and it makes the games boring as shit.
Nobody cares. Destiny 2 is garbage, and so is bungie. Over 4k hours on pc, 2k on PlayStation, and over 1k on Xbox. Many players carried to the light house between d1 and d2.
As a person with 8k hours in destiny 2 the game fucking sucks these days they have worse servers than cod and I didn't know that was possible and if your trying to get that catalist for the hard light to drop grind the vanguard Playlists 👍
I already have that drop and i love crucible, i have no problem with it, i drop 3.50+ KAD every game and always top, i see no issues.
Imagine the type of days we can be seeing in the future if call of duty deploys a REAL ((anti-cheat)) that just automatically bands anybody who signs in with cheats😖

I was ranked number two United States last year at a BR game called super people and back in 2011. I was ranked 12th in the world for most assists using the recon drone and I have never not once ever been banned in call of duty.

I will say it again and again.... SBMM has always been a problem for me since day one. Not because of who im playing AGAINST, but for who I am paired up with. When i drop 30-40 kills in a mp match and its a banger, the next teammate can barely get double digit kills and there are diminishing returns as you go down your teams leaderboard. Meanwhile, I feel like im playing a pro team that everyone averages double digit kills. So, with that being said, I get punished for playing well and should be able to carry my team to victory. On paper that may work but in reality it is a shit system. It is not an even playing field.
I’ve been dealing with that SBMM since bo3- 8 years. I played lots of solo TDM (when friends weren’t on + TDM wasn’t a bad game mode then not is just shit) I would literally drop 50 (half the kills of a game to win) to 70 and I would either just just win or just just lose, I have several screenshots to prove this to you or anyone who doubts this on my Xbox . And now today playing MP every match is just so sweaty
As an ancient, I have recently tried Xdefiant and have been having a blast. It def feels more like COD than COD does. Just good ol fashioned FPS gaming.
I can't wait for ppl to find out with proof that the same ppl marketing and publishing cod are also the same ppl who made a shell company selling cheats for cod. Recruiting former devs and programmers from the Activision various companies. It's just a matter of time.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna be a big one...
I started playing CoD with warzone on the pandemic. I bought MW2019, played with bots with no aim assist to improve my centering and tracking. It worked. Now....lets go back to warzone verdansk. The best state of the game was Bocw s2 reloaded. Why? Because there was weaponry for everything. Kar98k,Spr 208(both marksman/snipers), the FFAR,M16, AMAX,MAC 10 and Bullfrog. Even the low skilled player has weapons to use and be almost ok.
We went to Al Mazrah into a really hardcore battle royale, an experimental extraction shooter and a gunsmith system that was not friendly for the low skilled player.
WZ urzikstan, MWIII. Multiplayer is at a good state(except of cheating). Battle royale though, soooo much "movement"... where is the weaponry for the low skilled? Variety? The lobby uses 3 weapons. No character.
As for the downfall of warzone it started with the Black rose skin. If you don't have this skin you re no sweat bruh....

One last thought for the verdansk nostalgia. It was a br map friendly for new br players. Areas to rotate free, easy gatekeep and so on.
Watching that Destiny 2 gameplay reminded me I need to dive back into Destiny 2 instead of call of duty all the time. I dunno what happened but season 5 reloaded feels like the hackers are back even more which doesn't surprise me seems like after every major update hackers return.
Cod has really changed since mw 2019 and Vanguard. All the people I used to execute are gone mainly all the low and high profile ragers have left,my most popular cod clip was a domination match in vanguard when I made a female twitch streamer rage

I grew up gaming, i started playing Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and switched to Call of Duty.......i love the game but it changed so damn much as far as the matchmaking goes. In MW2023 my KD is 1.69 and i mainly play pubs, some ranked, but ran into too many cheaters, so i stick to pubs. I am on Xbox Series X and wish the devs would allow me to decide if i wanted crossplay turned off but still allow PlayStation users............i feel once PC was integrated into crossplay , with xbox and playstation, that was when it changed drastically!!!!!! I want to get off work and if i have free time i want to relax and play some COD. Sometimes i love to compete and play my hardest but i am forced to play at the top of my game all the time...Sometimes I want to get on with my brother a few states away and just do goofy things and have fun . Instead the other team all have meta weapons and is trying so sosoooooo hard, or cheating.....Get rid of PC or make it where PC play PC and consoles play vs consoles for the love of GODDDD!!!!

Streamers have too much influence on developers. Most bigger streamers are at the top, (cheating or not) and then they balance games on their feedback at the top of the play scale. While most of the players live at lower skill then they do, and make the game more frustrating for the majority.
The only mode I feel like is fair is hardcore multiplayer PlayStation only lobbies.

SBMM made it hard for people to enjoy having that rivalry playing against each map to map to trade off maps , and then they say they run test and people still left with easy games …. Um maybe it’s because people have a life too and got a good easy game and wanted to end the night on a good game but in their data it says “oh we give them easy lobbies and then they leave still so no we will give them hard lobbies to protect the horrible players “

Every time a game comes out without SBMM every streamer talks like it is going to kill COD. The game always flops. X defiant was a failure.
People that only play a few hours a week don't want to play against people that play 12 hours a day. That isn't fun.
Skill based match making is trash. Even worse is the algorithm that nerfs you and buffs bad players in the moment so you dump a clip in some noob, then die to one shot from him. It's not even a real game anymore. It's just an algorithm deciding what happens, and if that doesn't ruin it for you, the cheaters will.

Engagement matchmaking is the worst thing to ever exist in a game. Its so rigged its unplayable for some people.
In mw2019 it was skillbased eomm, meaning if you had a certain skill level or headahot% or other trigger it would nerf you. I got nerfed for playing dual sniper in warzone like 90% of my games.

Its all rigged in the most unfair way you can immagine.
In multiplayer it feels different. Its still highly predictable. But its less based on money spendt ingame. Its more «dynamic» where you are buffed/nerfed based on recent performance. If you act like a bot with a very bad wepon you will turn almost unkillable. I tested it and i could croughwalk true a sae landing on my position, enemies had a gunship in the air and sprayed at me for 15 seconds and could not kill me, so he gave up and chose another target. And the reason why i did that was due to my game beeing unplayable with me needing 4 point blank headshots to kill guys with a shotty i know should one tap at that range. So after i acted as a bot it would one tap easy up to 10m, and i did my camo challenges.
Eomm is pure unfair evil. And with that i decided to go bye bye cod. It aint worth it anymore. I would feel better after playing the game «first man to smash his head true a brick wall wins»

- The riccochet patchnotes where they troll cheaters with «splash», «no damage», «invisible enemies» etc are proofs that they are capable of adjusting engagement mid game live.

I was playing hardcore team last night hoping the last update would improve things. It started some what well and then some aimbots started popping up and then you would see the occasional speed demons covering the map about 4 times faster than everyone else so things are just about the same.

SBMM is extremely cancer. Me and my boy play resurgence and we do gas plays so we win way more games then we should. We’re pretty low Kd. Well since we win so much they put us in hacker lobbies almost every other game even though my KD is 1.6 and my boys is .08. It’s garbage
If Activision was to do this then I'd happily reinstall the game and start investing money into the game again. Until then it will remain uninstalled......bunch of rats 🐀 have killed it.
