They shouldn't be. They were just ranked in the twenties. Then they give up 30 in a win and get moved to 17 ranking?? Clemson isnt good. It's favoritism and politics.
@C2676GDH smh. What are you talking about. Are you trolling, or have you even watched a Clemson game? They had the 3rd string in against NC State by the 3rd qrtr
@@leeption1able I agree about QB change but that's my point. But the QB do not play defense. How can u go from 24 to 17 after that win? Championship or bust...
@@C2676GDH Clemson had players with no name on the back of their jerseys in during the 3rd and 4th. They practically had the practice squad out there playing an NC state team of starters. That would be the same as an FCS team playing them.
The comment about Louisville losing today, so they may not be ranked, is ridiculous. They lost on the road to a team ranked in the teens with them. The lack of respect for ACC teams continues.
Good win, but my concerns about the defense are getting worse. Not to take anything away from Stanford. They played well on offense. I think the coach made some mistakes that hurt his team. I’d have kept running the ball at Clemson. Cade resorted back to his old ways a couple plays. Especially the int. Two guys wide open on the play. Lots of teaching moments for Dabo to get team ready for FSU. Clemson better not overlook them.

How dare Clemson give up 7 points before putting in the third team defense. Oh, the horror. Hopefully, they'll turn things around so you don't have to worry yourself sick. Thank goodness they only gave up 14 points while scoring 40. Nail bitter.
@@timkinley1779 did you watch the game? Stanford ran all over Clemson’s 1st string defense and 2nd stringers and anyone they put on the field. Yes Clemson pulled away, but that goes back to the coaching from Stanford. On the field Stanford outplayed Clemson for the first 30 minutes. Based off your comment, I don’t expect you to understand. Just don’t be surprised when, if the defense keeps giving up chunk yards on the ground, the Tigers get run over by a team that has more talent than Stanford.
Just about expected for a team that has just turned a corner. 1. Run D still legit for the cardinal, lots to build upon. 2. Safeties were also flying in both run and pass games - Colin wright this time being phenomenal 3. Pass rush still work in progress, 3 down lineman on 3rd downs is not helping 4. Horrendous corner plays leading to many untouched receivers will continue to haunt this team. Can’t play Man with this bunch 5. Offensive line took a step forward especially in the run game. Variety of play calling stood out from TT as he gets comfortable with what can be executed 6. Moseley and cisse is a good bunch to build on but teams will game plan to take away ayomanor and force Daniels to read the field, need some more TE action which is missing from this playbook 7. Daniels oh well what’s there to say. Just about expected. Still a good run game QB but decision making still suspect in pass game. Hoping for Elijah’s quick recovery to save this team
Agree, especially with last point. If Daniels doesn't turn the ball over 3 times in the red zone / deep Clemson side of the field, this game is much much closer than the final score. God help us if Lamson is the starter for long. Elijah Brown injury happened at exactly the wrong time.
Another thing that helped stanford is the fact that peter woods was out. stanford abused the 2nd string DE. with woods in, the run game may have been different
@hydrabs95 we said a lot of things about the GA game too. If this or if that.... they (stanford) had plenty of chances, but that's the Clemson defense making plays when needed
It’s quite obvious that the Clemson D made a few plays when needed. My point was that Daniels’ throws were ill advised. Big QB errors in judgement that may or may not ever be fixed. Elijah Brown is the answer that can’t come soon enough
As a Clemson alumni, I'm sickened that units were diverted to ensure a football game could be played. People were literally dying and without power, and Clemson deemed it more important for football to be played.
Clemson has its own power plant on campus and makes its own power on its own power grid with power lines buried underground so Clemson's campus only lost power briefly and holding this game did not divert any linemen or power company resources away from any other community. If only other communities were as proactive as to bury their power lines a lot of trouble could be avoided in these storms.
Stop virtue signaling and get out there yourself and help. Like most people who are preoccupied with their own self-attributed moral superiority, you seem to know nothing about the actual situation. As someone else pointed out, Clemson has its own power station.
Then you should be really mad that the state and federal government do nothing to help American people. Billions and billions to other countries and endless wars but Maui and Asheville and Florida are left with nothing and no help.
These Stanford Cardinals are low key good! Gritty. Big. Good game Tigers!!! Showed some guts 💪💪. A game we maybe probably would have lost last year.
Clemson’s easily in the top 12 by tomorrow
