Neat, that's about how small some of my colonies are! New Jersey January 😊

Fantastic video, I've always wondered what the cluster looked like.

Or, (regarding building frames) like they say about boats, "don't own a boat, have a friend that owns a boat"😉 Great video, Gene!

I would love to see insulation on top, like R5 or so ~1inch XPS, and thicker side pannels from XPS - thanks

Have you thought of using a Rapid Round feeder on top of that hive? You won’t get any spillage using it vs a jar feeder but you’ll have to take your screen out.

Hey Gene, Great seeing you again here. It's Brad from NY. Interesting information. I was always under the impression that the bees that are doing the most movement and work to keep the cluster warm, are the bees that are at the furthest outside perimeter. But you're telling us that the most activity always happens near the center of the cluster? Is this right? Very interesting, and news to me. Thx

I figured it was kind of like being in an ice shanty all winter. And not catching any fish. Or like sitting in a hunting blind in winter.
